I like Ombre Nomade alot, but in germany you get MANY negative comments wearing this...the other day i wore l'immensite and got at least 6 compliments in the same office. My GF hates Ombre Nomade, she tells me it smells like burnt leather with cow shit and its breathtakingly strong but in a negative way :c

Lalique Encre Noir Sport is fantastic and I agree it's more casual smells good quality too.

Buy a couple Nishanes and a £20-30 dupe on top, but not of Aventus, maybe SMW, Original Santal etc.

Silver mountain water is a perfect 10 smell but terrible performance on me, the amaf silage i get a slight hint of the creed upon initial spray but then it goes into a different direction pretty quickly, I’m not saying it smells bad but it smells like it’s worth 20 quid smells cheap like a supermarket brand fragrance and nothing at all like the quality of the smell in the creed, I will say kenzo pour homme edp is an awesome fragrance it’s totally worth the price i brought it recently from notino uk i think about 45 quid for a 50ml and 110ml is about 70 quid i think, just got the 50ml blind buy and was pleasantly impressed

For £250 I’d start my collection with a 100ml of LV Imagination, done.

Well described and explained ! Elixir is mostly vanilla. My favourite is the one that many people discard as being off 1 Million road: Parfume ! It is not too sweet, it has freshness and, most important, it has underlying powdery effect that adds to the feeling of cleanness. Something that I like a lot !

How long does Jazz Club usually last?

I got the Parfum mainly because in duty free at Heathrow it was £140 for 150ml which seemed like a great deal. I sprayed both the Parfum and EDP and I'm glad I went Parfum because after 6 hours the smell transformed into something less harsh and a bit special.

I have the EDT and the Parfum. Maybe its my skin chemistry but they both smell repugnant.

I bought the 82% two weeks ago and after about 2 hours I can hardly smell it on my skin. I’m very disappointed and actually contacted Parfum de Marly directly to tell them that the scent doesn’t last long at all for a £245 fragrance and they came back saying that because I’ve used it there is nothing they can do. Unless I used it I wouldn’t have known that the fragrance wasn’t that long lasting but they didn’t seem to care. Overall I like the scent but Layton not worth £245 when I have much cheaper fragrances that last much much longer. Can anyone explain why it almost disappears on my skin. I’ve never had any issues with Creed and other brands.

I noticed the similarity that Boss has with Grand Soir immediately! The drydown is veeery simillar since Grand soir is basically amber and vanilla, of course the mfk has waaayy more quality but considering the price , boss elixir is a really good option if you don’t have the money to buy grand soir.

I never been complimented with the Intense, but with original L’homme…I’ve been noticed a lot in my work.🤷🏻. I find it too light to attract attention though, but it does, I’m surprised. I’m using my 3rd bottle now

I don’t think you can go wrong with the spice bomb range! A really great inexpensive fragrance that really packs a punch! Good to have in anyone’s collection.

I’ll give you a 4 month update since owning. I wear this only to special occasions and I tell you it does not disappoint. I get comments on it every time. The price sucks in the U.S, but totally worth it in my honest opinion. Good to have something unique that others in my circles don’t 😅

Can you do a video of the difference between Tygar and Vibrato? And Terre Hermes and Basso? I have all 4 of these perfumes and I cant tell much of the difference other than performance

I think PDM is more fruity with fresh citrus, while Hermes is more bitter and strong

Took me a while to understand the EdT too, but I absolutely love it for what it is now. The EdP though, that was love at first sniff. That drydown has much more meat to it, it’s easier to understand, it’s got a more obvious composition, and it’s just delicious the whole way through.
