I bought my son a bottle of GIT when he was 16 & it immediately became his signature. He is now 30 & hasn't worn anything else since. It's GIT or nothing for him! It's literally that special. What a beautiful scent it is, masculine & confident, it somehow manages to be perfect for any & all occasions. It's pricy, but oh... sooo worth it.

I smelled Royal Oud today for the first time ,, that shit hit me so hard on first whiff that I froze up right in front of the rep who sprayed it LOLOL. Smelled like an alcoholic shot of some sort: maybe whisky or bourbon. I want to go smell it again!

My favorite creeds are Tabarome, Green Irish Tweed, Viking and Bois du Portugal. Bois du Portugal has to be my favorite. Many would say it doesn't suit a 25 year old, but I just love it

In my opinion Green Irish Tweed is not only the best Creed fragrance, it's one of the best fragrances period. Second only to PDM Layton. I own two other Creed fragrances, Aventus and Virgin Island Water. Aventus is good but Virgin Island Water is otherworldly. As much as Green Irish Tweed transports you to the green rolling hills of Ireland in Spring, Virgin Island Water transports you to the sun drenched beaches of the Caribbean. Highly recommend buying both if you can afford it, but if you can only afford one, go with Green Irish Tweed. It's much more versatile.
Everything is said! I would say Himalaya transports you into big mountain view in Himalayas and Silver Mountain Water in Swiss valley near the mountain, weather is cold, but not freezing.
Virgin Island is 100% Bounty bar
I have Layton at number 5 or PDM I love it but imo there is better. 1. Layton Ex, 2. Carlisle, 3. Greenley, 4. Herod then 5. Layton

Silver Mountain water is my #1, for me it was love at first smell. I bought Irish Tweed but I honestly really don't like it, it just smells like a fresh cut lawn which I don't want on me. Virgin Island Water smells like a paint shop which I also don't like. The other's on your list (minus Bois de Portugal which I have not smelled) are good and I would recommend them to someone looking to buy a cologne

But, when I wear Aventus .. knowing the beauty I'm bringing to any space .. it's a good feeling.
I own or have owned most of these.
My Creed in order:
1. Green Irish Tweed (Seasonal but amazing)
2. Aventus (20e01n is what I own) Batches do make a difference but I wouldn't go chasing a batches. The ones that have a pledge cleaner opening I don't like much
3. Himalaya (Clean, Fresh and uplifting) I smell/feel clean with this.
4. Erolfa (Great and might be higher if it had more projection. Sits too close for me)
5. Bois du Portugal Classic and elegant but slightly dated.
6. Royal Oud Goes up and down my list. Have to like cedar and opening can be harsh but dry down is nice.
7. Aventus Cologne fresh but doesn't resonate with me. Good but boring. overpriced for similar DNA available.
8. Original Vetiver love it but overpriced for a vetiver...I'd chose other vetiver ones before it
9. Royal Water clean soapy but also a little cleaner smelling at times. Like opening more than dry down.
10. Silver Mountain Water decent but the Armaf version is just as good and rarely wear this. Unisex
11. Millesime Imperial just does not work on my skin similar to D&G light blue Eau Intense doesn't work on me either but okay on others.. Too sea salty.
12. Virgin Island Water (not a big fan of coconut)
13. Original Santal (like MB Individual better even if synthetic)
14. Viking (hated old spice and this is a updated more spicy version)

@@Turtlemilk gotta go with the original aventus, light, clean fresh. I wear it for ME, not for compliments. It's awesome. My 2 favorites are Irish tweed and aventus. Island water is fantastic, but you have to love a "coconut lotion" kind of smell, it's pretty heavy with the coconut.

Virgin Island Water is my absolute favorite cologne. Not even from just creed, out of everything it is my favorite fragrance! It's perfect, you're instantly teleported to a tropical paradise when you wear it!

I smelled it without spraying on my skin and thought it smelled like WD-40, but on skin and in the air it is a beautiful scent!

Aventus is king for me. I also love Aventus Cologne for the heat and Royal Oud for the cold (Royal Oud 14A01 lasts FOREVER).
Millesime and Erolfa are great, but I don’t own them yet. Millesime lasted even longer than some Tom Ford frags on me. My skin loves it!

Antonio, love your videos, you taught me a lot about what I wear. I'm a doctor and a perfume buff, so I would love to see the studies you're referring to. That sort of thing interests me. How do I obtain these?
Was able to try Silver Mtn Water and Millesime Imperial today, 1 spray of each on the inside of each arm. SWM was hard to smell 10 mins after. I can still smell Millisime 3 hours later, so if you had a few sprays it would be fine. The smell of Millesime was spot on, what a great cirtus fresh scent. Definitely adding it to my list.
I have both, and have some inconsistencies in the initial sample vs full bottles.
My MI sample smelled awesome, but was gone in an hour. My full bottle lasts 5 - 7 hours, but isn't as intriguing as the sample. Same story with SMW. Still love them both though.
Great job on listing your top fragrances Antonio and educating us on some of these that are not so popular. For me, 1. GIT, 2. MILLISEME IMPERIAL, 3. VIKING, 4. TABARONE MILLISEME, 5. ADVENTUS.... understand, my list only includes the scents I have purchased and worn. I will try the others and let you know. Great job as usual!
Hey, Antonio! I've been so amazed by you and i have something in mind that has bothered me for quite some time now. I was told that there are two types of Creed Royal Water, one with a clear bottle and the other one with a frosted bottle. Now, these two apparently have a different smell. I was able to try the one with the clear bottle, but we don't have anything in the market for the frosted bottle. What's your thought about this, please? Thanks
I want to say thank you for being up front and very honest for the Creed line up and back history of how it was formed I never knew that perfumes and colognes have rich a rooted history and a lot of facts and great info for a guy like me that don't know anything of this

I have Aventus and Green Irish Tweed. I too put GIT higher than Aventus. For some reason Aventus, some days, reminds me of freshly mowed grass. Not necessarily a bad smell, but not one I care to wear. It must be body chemistry, because it usually smells great. Whereas GIT, I can wear all the time and never smells off.
Royal Oud reminds me of how I smelled after getting a haircut when I was a kid over 50 years ago. It might have been the talc powder the barber applied at the end that had that fragrance. Millesime Imperial smells great but same complaint here--doesn't last. I don't know which is my favorite between VIW, GIT or Aventus, but I wear VIM the most, by far--almost every day I go outside in the late spring through the end of the summer.

I absolutely love Viking, it probably helps that I don't pay attention to hype, and just go with what I enjoy and what works off my skin. Both Viking and Millesime Imperial would've been higher on my personal list.

hype is for fools. Fragrance has become a consumer driven hype machine instead of an art. Fragrances used to come out every few years because artists would carefully arrange them, now new shit comes out all the time and all these frag-head consumers buy it all up just like the annual Iphone

I’m so glad I didn’t blind buy any of these fragrances! I have Aventus and it’s one of my go to scents but after watching a few of those videos I went to the Creed stall and tested all of them! I only liked Santal but it reminded me of a nit soap we used to have when I was at school! It’s been a big eye opener for me so I recommend you try before you buy!
I got a sample of Green Irish Tweed a year back and oh man did I fall in love with it. I really need to pull the trigger on it someday. I think it to be the PERFECT fragrance

Regarding Tabarome Millesime, the now vaulted Tabarome supposedly created in 1875 was Churchill’s favorite Creed; it is an incrediblely deep cured tobacco and ambergris fragrance that hangs in your nostrils for ages but doesn’t resemble the new Tabarome at all in my opinion.

Over the years, I owned a few Creed scents, including Tabarome and Bois De Portugal. But my absolutely favourite of all times (possibly my favourite scent to put on myself period) is Baie de Genievre. I don't know what it is, but I wish I could bathe in it. And to make life fun, just as my bottle runs low, Creed vaulted it until further notice.

i havent bought a creed fragrance yet but i really do and i have gotten some samples of some like aventus, silver mountain water and viking but id say i really like aventus and silver mountain water definitley and then viking was pretty good, but im really interested in virgin island water and that last one, really looking for good summer and spring fragrances right now but its gunna be really good to get a creed fragrance but also learn about how creed started i think the history behind the fragrance is really cool and interesting.
Aventus, GIT, and Royal Oud are my favorite CREED fragrances. I am sampling a few others to add to my CREED family real soon. Great video!

I own most of the fragrances that smell similar to Aventus. My favorite and the one I reach for the most now is Frapin The Orchid Man. It smells incredible. To my nose, there are differences between the two. I like it more than Aventus. I’ve heard people complain about the performance of Frapin fragrances, but I get above average performance with The Orchid Man. I’ve received compliments 7+ hours after application. I go anywhere from 5-7 sprays. The atomizer on Frapin bottles don’t distribute as much juice as Creed bottles.
Have you tried Hacivat and Orion ? Is orchid man better than these ?
Such a honest review, and erolfa deserves to be number one, it’s the niche version of acqua di gio, erolfa is the best natural smelling aquatic I have ever smelled. Salut for for your honesty.

totaly agree. I also like portugal. But 10 years ago, before I start collecting fragrances, I saw Irish tweed and I did understand just by the look it is a one of the classy fragrances out there.

Royal Mayfair is a classic, mature fragrance. It aims to reinterpret an aristocratic fragrance of a completely different era, so no wonder most people don't get it as they lack the olfactory references to understand it.
Royal Oud is a 10/10 masterpiece and Creed's greatest fragrance EVER made

Of course after all it’s a matter of taste but royal oud is for creed what jubilation XXV is to amouage if reflection is their aventus. Everyone talks about reflection but jubilation is the real king. Same goes for aventus and royal oud.

So far I've only smelled Aventus, Green Irish Tweed, and Millesime Imperial from Creed. The first two didn't do much for me, with Green Irish Tweed smelling like a pine tree in a bottle, basically, and Aventus was just ok, but nothing special. I did like the freshness & citrus smell of Millesime Imperial, I must say, but I've read longevity is hit & miss.
When I saw the video I was thinking "I hope Erolfa is #1". Absolute beauty, great list.
Neroli Sauvage is my #2 but I 100% agree longevity is the main issue.
Viking is a rich, earthy fragrance and for that reason it’s easily my favourite Creed. It’s versatile and it lasts on my skin for 6-8 hours. That earthiness is hard to beat.
It might be the best performing scent from the entire Creed lineup.

Because Viking is new. But the best performing Creed scent ever were the grail batches of Aventus. 2010-2013. Those were projection, longevity, and sillage monsters. WERE. Because Creed don't make them anymore.

My top 5 from bottom to top: Millesime Imperial, Virgin Island Water, Green Irish Tweed, Original Santal, Aventus. I got into Creed in 2010 so gotta special place for Aventus. Very versatile with great longevity and projection. Original Santal is just amazing. I feel it is unisex. Not versatile but great in winter and special nights out. Love the cinnamon in it. GIT is a stalwart. It has that utilitarian thing going on. I can go to work in it, wear it at night, summer, winter. I think of it as Creeds backbone fragrance. Dependable and enduring like the company. Old and young can wear it! Virgin Island Water is a yummy, fun, inspiring scent. I wore it in Spain the summer of 2012 which included Ibiza for Avicii's first performance in the country at Club Ushuaia. Had to spray myself quite a bit, throughout the day, but it was worth it. I can see wearing it in tropical countries as well. Millesime Imperial was perfect for my visit to Rio de Janeiro for New Year's Eve 2020. Salty, fruity scents fit perfect lying on the beach drinking caipirinhas in Ipanema!

This is a legit list!!! I'm newer to Creed frags and niche frags in general, but my top 3 Creeds are Millesime Imperial, Virgin Island Water, and Silver Mountain Water.
As an Army Vet I didn't get the experiences you did, but I have to admit, the Creed fragrances are definitely a gateway to memories of time spent in the middle east.

Hey, what do you think of Ambassador for men from Gisada? Some say it is a beast, I don't think so. It's really synthetic and I wear it right now and feel knocked out all the time and starting to get a headache.
Got in an elevator in Assisi, 3 very well dressed gentleman were in there. One was wearing an amazing cologne. I asked what he was wearing ,.. he looked down and the looked up “Creed Tabalone”. Because of the drop in performance of Creeds recent batches, clone houses like Parfum Vintage have become very essential these days for their high end clones which out perform the whole Creed line..
I live in a small town and I have the distinct pleasure to drive to a Neiman Marcus about an hour and a half away yesterday and got to actually smell some Creed products and some Tom Ford products which are not available anywhere near where I live it was great
