we definitely dont' say something like "reflected electrified heartfelt feelings" for telepathy; the tele in telepath, telephone, telemetry, teledyne, means "distant, far", not transmit nor electric. pathos does however mean 感情

Bill Gates as I understand had a Chinese spy girlfriend. She dumped him and went back home rather than get caught iirc. So maybe your wish could come true? But Laoma would kill me! Bad jokes aside, I bet you could do advertizements for Microsoft, Gates is pro-China.

Your videos on how to use Chinese rap to learn mandarin are awesome for more than one reason. One gets to know the rap scene. You have great taste for music, and so far all songs could feature in someone's favorite list. Also, it's never just about tones, there are always other pronunciation tips, interesting grammar, and cultural observations. They usually pack days of study in them.

I learned about 刘夫阳 and 法老 from this! I will be listening to their music now. This is educational, and it's good promotion for these artists. I really hope there is more of this kind of content and the publishers realize this is fair use, free promotion which actually grows the audience of the artists!
Can't agree more😂 Well I know musicians and rappers have had a few tough years since the pandemic, so I'd love to support them with the ads income or whatsoever, but what bothers me is that the video is not recommended by the platform, either😢

This reminds me of my pronunciation of the -iu ending could be better. I know it should be “i ou” but I have a habit of “i u” that I need to break.

Glad you like this series! Ma Siwei got a bit Sichuan accent, and his music is more melodic in recent years. So it’s good to listen to, but not among the best ones for learning tones and pronunciation imo
