@TheBeardedOutdoorsman when sharpening the knife do you put it in at a angle or straight up an down?
I have one in my pocket as an EDC. I have one in my backpack and one in my shoulder bag. It sharpens very well.
Just picked one of these up and couldn't believe how well it worked. I found your video because I thought it must have been a fluke that I had a razor edge on a previously dull knife in under 5 minutes and under 20$. Its awesome to see that this company is putting out amazing products at a fair price and I didn't just get lucky. This thing is as legit as it can get. I'm happy to see someone else spreading the word! Also I dig your channel, keep it up brother

I use it and the buddy guard by sharpal. My machete is a kukri style and the buddy guard is excellent for curved blades.
Ive had mine for 3 years now and its still my go to sharpener its always on my keychain
I just bought one as it was advertised on Amazon, and it seemed like a good thing to have even around the house for sharpening blades. Thanks for the review. I learned a few things from you. You just earned yourself a sub. Cheers!
I bought one last week, before I saw this review.
It's a really good piece of kit, even used it on a couple of kitchen knives.
Bought this sharpall after viewing this video. It is excellent! Thx for that and thanks for the video. It was to the point, convinced me to make this worthwhile purchase and had excellent audio. Outdoor audio can be a challenge. you nailed it.

I thought it was pronounced Sharp Pal. Sharp-All also works but this guy is now my pal.
Thanks for the idea of the fire cord. I’m not sure you did justice to the whistle. When blown properly that thing is fierce! I lucked out with this modestly priced tool and have added it to my pocketbook EDC. Yeah, I’m a happy Camper 😉

Can you use it for nice steel like 20cv?
As of this writing - this Sharpal at Amazon is about 10 dollars. This particular style will sharpen a knife fairly well - but not sharp enough to safely shave with. I could be wrong - but having used it, I cant see it being razor blade sharp. Its still worth buying though.

By the way, whats the sharpening angle.....
It is a great item but little known is that sharpal does two models
The orange one that you have that comes with 1 ferro rod and a green model that cost a little more but comes with 2 ferro rods
I bought a 15 inch hunting knife and bought one of these on Amazon it will be here later
Does it work on stainless steel blades?

Yes I love mine and it works great and it's inexpensive you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars for a sharpener that little tool right there is sharpens all my pocket knives and my tactical knives shaving Sharp only cost $13
I think its actually supposed to be a play on "sharp pal"... you know, sharp-pal... sharpal.

Those pull through carbide sharpeners are garbage and do more harm than good.

Ryan, they work great but they are not as good as a wet stone especially if they dont match the angle. But they do work great in a pinch and on MOST knives. Thanks for watching. Oh, and sorry for the delay in responding.
