Her mother was sicilian and her father was belgian. So she has two native languages. She's fluent in spanish and english. Sings in twelve languages in all.
Pavarotti remains my favorite version but Lara's version has a passion you can't escape. And, apropos of nothing in particular, you have a beautiful speaking voice yourself!
🎼✅You really are such a good reactor. You understand the interplay between a song, the gaps between lyrics, and your commentary. You pause the video appropriately, or speak without pausing but skillfully speaking, and vocalize (nonwords), as if part of the music. Your tonality, choice of words, insights (many new to me). What you bring to the experience, it's all so pleasing. I appreciate all reactors who are sincere, but few have your gifts. 💚
This is an amazing song, and many great singer such as Pavarotti, Josh Groban, and Lucio Dalla had sung this song beautifully. Somehow, Lara's version touched me most. Not saying others are not amazing, only that I found Lara's Caruso felt so special for me.
AleksReacts, excelentes tus análisis de los cantantes. Y por fin, encontrar una persona anglófona, que pronuncia bien los nombres de las canciones en francés y en italiano. Gracias !!!!
Oh and by the way Lara has been trained as an opera soprano during 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and continues to be trained 2 hours a day in the same way.
Caruso, is an italian song, written, composed and performed in 1986 by Lucio Dalla as a tribute to Enrico Caruso, the most famous tenor of his time (late 19th / early 20th century). He was the first global singing superstar.
Thank you @PBWaWa, @DAlex33, @Royal_BLT, @PBWaWa for suggesting this performance! I hope you enjoy it. 😊

Loved your reaction. Would love to see you react to Lara singing "Perdere L'amore" from the same concert.

Lara is The Queen of Resonance and vowel coordination. She is The Ring. The perfect singer.
Lara is still delivering it perfectly.
