Remember really old fridges that have the big dark grill on the back? That's the heat exchanger. A big metal grill that has a long winding piece if copper tubing attached to it with the freon refrigerant running through it. On modern fridges, the copper tubing is glued onto the inner surface of the outer aluminum skin, which acts as the heat exchanger.
Putting that insulated bag around your fridge will prevent it from radiating heat as it tries to chill the food. The compressor will work harder and eventually burn out.

Love the mods guys, all of this looks super natural to the point I wouldn't have been able to tell what was modified and what wasn't. Super intriguing seeing your setup, might even have to take notes! Such a unique holiday to get to go on with everything going on, hope you two get to enjoy the trip 🤙🏻

deadcat/windshield for the mike! :) Also, the difference in volume from one to the other is really hard to adjust for - if you tweak it for Elvis, you can barely hear Caitlin, if you go the other way, Elvis' voice booms out through the speakers - easiest way to even it out is put a mike on Caitlin. :) Otherwise nice video clip. Really enjoyed the tour of your trailer. Good luck for the future.

Just a heads up, when the thermostat on my waeco failed the fridgy I took it too to fix it told me that something like 90% of the failures he sees are on fridges that have a cover on in an enclosed environment because it holds the moisture at the fridge
I was told the same thing by the guys in Sydney that service all the Waeco/Dometic fridges.
Nice trailer but that awning looks like a nightmare to setup.

love the pole storage holders on the boat rack, where did you get them from?
they came with the trailer when we bought it second hand but its just PVC piping with end caps called "bazooka caps".
how has the canvas held up water .mould stitching etc??

Woahhhhhh you have driven 12 hours to a stay in a caravan park. My favourite part was the customised container. Not sure you have enough bread rolls. Feel like the space used for the awning poles are a great space for a baguette or two. Just a thought. Assuming you're well, Mr M
