Yeah, I had to get both Ghosts 'n Goblins and Ghouls 'n Ghosts. Such iconic pieces from my arcade journey. I played these more at 7 Eleven, but definitely arcade staples :)

They already did a second release on the Dragons Lair machines, unfortunately I doubt we would see them do a third. It’s a great machine!

It’s great, even boots up as slowly as an original arcade machine, which is actually really important for that ultra realistic feel. Really cool, highly recommend.

I wish NEW WAVE TOYS WOULD PRODUCE MORE OF EACH REPLICADE UNIT. THEY ARE ALWAYS SOLD OUT AND ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO BUY ONE AT A DECENT PRICE. THEY ARE BUILT VERY WELL, BUT ARE HARD TO GET YOUR HANDS ON... AT LAUNCH PRICE. THANKS FOR THE REVIEW 👍

I got the Ghouls and Ghosts edition.. absolutely beautiful machine as always from New Wave ..but I don't have the patience to beat it! But I love having it!.. The new CRT filter looks much better than the first one for sure!
Yeah even with infinite credits the game is such a difficult grind to get through.
@cooltoy well that and you have to beat it twice to get the real ending...

Wish I could have all the Replicades, they are so stunning, but as you say.. that game drives you insane, its so darn playable but so damn brutal! They could have eased off the difficulty a *little* ! :D
The fact that when you beat the first 5 levels you have to start all over again to reach the final boss is one of the biggest middle fingers that game designers ever came up with.
@@cooltoy Well said! Isnt the final boss satan or one of his demons in this .. well thats who probably programmed the game too :D
As far as the diffuculty, you can go into the menu settings and adjust that from "normal" to "easy" if desired. Although, I haven't actually played mine on the easy setting yet, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes in the game play.
Every arcade company should have the quality control as good as New Wave! I like when they include HDMI.
totally agree, New Wave Toys is pretty much the bar or what the other companies should strive for in terms of QC and customer service.
I love when they have the HDMI out feature on them. Unfortunately, sometimes the licensing agreements prohibit them from including this feature on the cabinets.
Do you know if this outputs 720p or 1080p?
This company has some amazing packaging and details in their products. I think you've said so in previous videos but do you get to hang onto these machines or do you have to send them back after review?
I’m very been lucky enough to get to keep the review units I’ve been sent. Between review units and the many I’ve purchased over the years I’ve been able to complete the whole line of replicates released to date

Was stoked for Berzerk until found out it is labeled Atari instead of the proper Stern. Inspired me to make my own mini cade using an iCade and Android tablet and working on the art now. Actually, it's more practical for playing as well.
Yeah Atari owns the rights to the game now, so it's not something they can legally use the Stern name on to produce their product.
