this young man is the best Tutor I have ever seen showing the Clawhammer techniques I have ever seen and I am 72 years old I stay in Scotland many thanks Jimmy
Honestly, this is the clearest explanation i've ever seen. I never comment on CZcams, but felt the need to let you know that you are an amazing teacher!
Thanks I needed this to learn rules to break rules. You make this possible. I see what I wanna do thru what you’re shining on. Great stuff very correct. Very useful.
Wow I am so glad I found a teacher as great as you. Clear, concise and understandable. I have trouble with tuning. I can get the standard G. I know some of the others. For instance if you would slowly go from 5,4,3,2,1 twicw. That way I can get my banjo tuned to practice without freaking out. Does your company make the banjos on your web page. I love the Moon and star inlays. How much? Playing a short scale 1924 VEGA Tuba Phone with engrave neck 5 String.
Hi there thanks for the lesson really informative. Can i ask how you attach your ping pong ball nail to stay in place. I keep breaking my nail and wonder if this could be an answer, your playing is wonderful. Linda
What strings do you use Lukas? I have a Deering Goodtime openback and I want to put nylons on it. It has a typical cheap no-knot tailpiece which I've heard can cut nylon strings. Any suggestions for a cheap tailpiece I could swap in that would be suitable for nylons? Thanks. Your beautiful playing inspired me to pick up the banjo.

You are very good and also a good teacher. Can you tell me what is that yellow "pick" on your finger?
Learning from video myself here, very helpful. I would assume that the yellow pick is an acrylic nail
Great tutorial. I tried to play along in a open G tuning but something doesn't sound right. May I ask what tuning you are using? Thanks!!
