Hi. I recently bought a DX5 Rugged to go with my Vanquish Phoenix Scale Crawler. I am having problem assigning the Aux channels. is there a way to reset the tranny to factory setting?
Aux 2 seems to work fine, but 2 and 3 have no option to change the mode or which switch to use. Can you help?

I know it’s an old video but I recently purchased a DX5c and just bound it to an SR515 on my limitless. Got my steering subtrim set up, but some reason if i hit the steering trim rocker for fine tuning it goes R or L but in a large step and then returns to center upon releasing. Won’t hold the trim. I’ve tried it on default step settings, value of 1 and 15 with no change. 1 click moves the wheels considerably but upon releasing trim rocker the wheels return to zero. Unsure if I just set it up incorrectly or if I have another issue. I haven’t dug into it too far as I just installed it. Any help is appreciated.
@SpektrumRC I noticed 2.03 firmware is out for the transmitter with the new auto calibration AVC function. Is there an easy way to save the models (settings and binds) so i can load them in on my DX5C after the update or its not possible? I have 2.01 firmware. I just don't want to loose my settings again after the update...
Is there a way to use the G switch on the DX5C or Pro to turn the C switch on and off? Basically I want to be able to hold the G switch on when I want rear steering to work. So when you are going in a straight line on the race track then hit the G switch to active the rear steering for the corner get the rear steering to match the front steering then release the G switch to center rear steering after the corner and just have front steering.
Dx5c all models read “unusable models” after binding four different models. Please advise
Hi i just installed the Rovan Symmetrical steering kit on my 1/5 scale gas RC truck but when I turn it to the right it goes to the left and when I turn it to the left it goes to the right and im using the DX5C controller any suggestions????
RF quality on the telemetry screen...does a high number mean a poor signal?
How can i config a Throttle Override with one button (H) i drive a infraction and if i hit the button for the E-Brake the esc must cut Power to protect the diff.
I have the dx5c connected and working-the problem is the throttle is backwards-pressing the throttle forward, it goes backward, pushing the throttle it goes forward. I cannot figure out how the reverse it so that it works properly.
mine wont stay in bind mode turn everything off and i have to rebind it every time you have a solution to this

Is this transmitter mainly for crawlers, or can I use it with an associated B6.3D in racing?
Can be used for whatever you want! But if you want more programming options for racing then the DX5 Pro is a better option.
Kindly ,this last two years I purchased the DX5C and five SR6100AT, and the AVC is not working correctly on all cars that I had to reduce it to around 3% on all models.
Meanwhile, a friend of mine landed me a receiver like the one that he has on the infraction, and the AVC worked perfectly, that I could adjust it up to 75%. I made contact with the spectrum dealer in Europe and they told me to send one of the receivers, which I did but when they received it they told me that it is not binding and they sent me one SRS6110AT and it is working perfectly but I still have the other receivers still not working properly!
I'm having trouble with the screen on my dx5c I used of for a total of about 30 min and the screen started blacking out, I went in and changed the contrast and it helped some but it's like the screen is just fading out. Any suggestions?
I'm going through the same thing trying to figure it out screen quality is not good at all
I have the spektrum firma setup, motor esc ect...with this controller, once i bined my car it runs for 14 seconds then cuts out, still bined as i can turn the car still, the motor is just dead after that, what do you think this is? thanks!
Could be over geared? Sounds like it is over current issue and that is likely over geared OR potentially a drive train issue causing excessive current.
Can this remote be bind with the arrma felony spektrum dsmr receiver ?

I purchased a losi DBXLE and it comes with the srs6000@ and it either has the DX2E that I think came with the car or he purchased the DX4C with the Samar radio system and I've had them close but I've also had the car to where it's out of control and I don't know how to get it back in control I so badly want to drive it I've already rebound it probably too many times and have the instruction

my dx5c doesnt show the smart logo on the box/manual or by the lcd screen like i see on like literally everyones dx5c radios... did i get the only dx5c on the planet that doesnt have smart technology?

HELLO SPECKTRUM RC IF YOU HAVE TO MUCH POWER TO THE MOTOR TO WHAT BUTTON DO USE TO LOWER THE POWER ON SPECKTRUM DX5C ?????
There are a few ways to do this, but for convenience sake I would recommend setting up a throttle rate switch. This will allow to you to lower the motor power proportionally from a trimmer.
When you buy the C model cos its less bulky 😢
Hi, I need some clarification in regards to being able to register my dx5c product I just got from Amazon a couple of days ago. First let me prefix this by saying I also bought the esc programmer for additional 30 dollars. Is there a way to register my product for warranty coverage with out having to pay additional monies for an additional cable that did not come with product for warranty coverage? I have three rc vehicles that use your companies electronics that I have purchased also within the last 30 days. I hope that this is not the case, because if it is, I will be forced to return these items, not because I could not afford the cable, but the principle of charging extra for warranty coverage of product. Please respond soon as I have 30days to return these products. Thanks

I have a spectrum dx5c and a spectrum 6110at i put the receiver in my trx4 and every time i turn it on i have to rebind it and i dont know why you have any tips
If the receiver is always booting up into bind mode that is a good sign the button is stuck. Feel free to open the case and check for debris that could be keeping the button from moving propperly.

Hello amigo i just want to know i have a dx3 on a arrma senton 6s blx with the 185 esc i just want to know if i can still use the bt2000 or do i need a smart esc and i have a slt3 i just want to know will it bind to a srx 300
You can use the BT2000 BUT you will not get any of the telemetry and Gauges, only be able to change transmitter settings from your phone. Hope that makes sense!

My 5c only uses about 25%of throttle. Tried expo, tried everything! 100% throttle at 25% pull no matter what I try. Please help.
There is a calibrate menu in the system menu. Give that a try :)
Why is there never a well placed aux channel for rear steer setups? A thumb control to be able to steer the rear as much or small as needed
The DX5 pro has this feature. Maybe it finds its way into lower end models in the future :)
Man agreed I was just about to buy one of these on the sale. Because I thought the two buttons by the grip we’re just like the DC X.3 that comes with the Capra. And then I watch this video and I realize everything’s gonna be done by the steering knob. That’s annoying.
@@DB-qm4jx I did find one option, the radiolink rc6gs. It has a VR knob behind the steering wheel. There's 3D printed wheels that will fit the VR knob and work as an actual rear steer with your left thumb while driving normal with both hands

@DB Most people I know start out with a spectrum and end up hating them because the menu is a pain to deal with lol. I was going to do the same and was advised heavily against it in the Vanquish groups and a friend of mine. For about the same money as that dx5, you could get an rc8x radiolink, they're about $250 with a full color touch screen and fully programmable. They're on par with higher end futaba radios imo
I'd buy this radio if HH don't force me to buy a new low-end TX with every RTR car out there.
We need more kits and rollers.
There are a lot of benefits that outweigh that con. There are plenty of Rollers and kits too ;) We have tried BNF on surfaces models before and it never seems to catch on :/
HELP ~ DX5R controller / 1080 hobby wing esc / spektrum SR515 receiver / ~ I can bind them and always have steering but I lose forward and reverse on and off. when I do if I just slightly nudge the vehicle while holding the trigger it then takes off. This is a brand new hobbywing esc and it's the third esc now. Does anyone know what's up. Vehicle is RC4WD Trail Finder 2

@@SpektrumRCvideos Thanks for the reply, well it finally just stoped forward and reverse all together so now I have nothing. ESC #3 ugh! so now I can't reproduce the problem I described.... someone said maybe it is the receiver, but I have steering .... I think at this point I just have to give up to the 1080, I'm running a hobby Holmes Magnum 10T so maybe I should just try a hobby Holmes esc, how knows.......
Jeg køre speedrun uden reverse på min esc. Jeg har altid kørt med failsafe således at bilen bremser ned hvis den mister rækkevidde. Kan det virkelig passe at spektrum dx5c ikke har mulighed for failsafe ?
The DX5C does not have a "failsafe" menu. Failsafe settings are all handled on the receiver side. Essentially, your failsafe positions are set at the same time as binding, so when you bind the receiver, make sure your transmitter is in the settings and throttle/steering positions you would like them to failsafe to. Hope that helps!

Is spectrum out of buisness because I can't seem to get ahold of anyone
The wheel for scrolling up an down don’t work an really wanna mod it from that wheel to buttons for up an down! Anyone doing this or know how to fix that selecting wheel!?! I have like 3 hours on the radio the screen protector is still on it! I mean it’s new not abused. I know my dx3r and pro did this as well but the 5c is way worse! Spectrum or someone from spectrum should respond to this! Because I know more then just me have issues with this!

@@SpektrumRCvideos Thank you but that doesn't help my poor eyesight when reading the display. For this reason I have to continue using the DX 4S.
Question: can you guys send me a replacement for the plastic covering the actual display on the DX 4S? Mines is scratched quite badly.
My suggestion would be to peal that off. It is really there just for shipping and not exactly meant as a screen protector. If you want a protective film over the screen lens I would suggest getting some clear protective film that can be cut to shape and attach.

I wish it was less advertising and more HOW to make things work right.. I have constant problems not knowing if the exponential should be added or subtracted or how to make the steering react right... or the brakes not park the car when touched.. and how to make the throttle come on more smoothly..
+ expo softens the feel around center. +expo on throttle can also help with how "smooth" the thr feels. BUT the function of the brake and throttle feel can largely depend, if not exclusively, to the ESCs settings. Try playing with your Drag brake and throttle punch settings on your esc :)
