This Dx5 rugged rx/tx combo from spektrum is hard to beat. A great upgrade for any rc driver.

In a way, it reminds me of the cigarette lighter in the movie "Our Man Flint"; a 1960s James Bond spoof. This lighter had 67 functions, but Flint said he only knew 66..... Then he lit a cigarette with it. 🙄 My entire flying fleet is on a Spectrum Tx and it has served me well.
"Doppler" our great Dane is like a "postman" we give him packages to deliver in our house. Lol He's so easy and gentle with the "package" once the package is delivered he drops it. 😄 he's been a great addition to the family, getting old now 7years old. Thanks for watching Doc

However, I can't ever see needing 5 channels for a boat. Great receiver for a complex RC car and the telemetry is really neat.

At £200 (I'm in UK) that's steep considering I get all I need, and run ALL my boats, with my Absina CR3P at a quarter of the price. 😉

The only downfall I've seen was the touch screen on them can be wonky but heard they may have fixed that
I can definitely see why people would say that, took me about a week or so to get use to the interface, now it's no problem once you get the Hang of it just like anything else
