I prefer the original Guerlian bottle I love the classic look, they truly didn’t need to change it, I love my Angelique Noire so much

Guerlain Spirituese Double Vanille is my favorite perfume in existence! I love vanilla so much, and this one is like nothing I've ever smelled! This perfume speaks to my soul! I could wear just this for the rest of my life! It doesn't have major projection...but its just perfect in every way!!

I wear Atelier cologne vanille insensee layered with a fresh citrus fragrance to reduce sweetness but keeping that vanilla smell without being overpowering sweet.
I enjoy your channel so much, especially the Chanel and luxury perfume reviews. You’re always on top of the latest releases and full of great advice. I’m so happy to learn Guerlain relaunched that line of fragrances. My fav is Cruel Gardenia, not only because it’s a creamy white floral with a unique almost oriental undertone, but bc it was purchased while on a vacation with my husband, so it has added sentimental value. I’m looking forward to repurchasing that one. Thanks for all your reviews and advice. PS, it’s adorable when your husband pops into your videos unexpectedly.

Spiritueuse double vanille is too hyped up, I went to saks I can’t see what people are hyping up. Kayali vanilla 28 is still my favorite, I haven’t found anything that tops it off, for my personal taste.

I'm pretty sure Sephora has a clean perfume favorites sampler that includes Vanilla Woods and a certificate for 1 of the samples in the full size. And I think the sampler is cheaper than what the full size of Vanilla Woods costs.

Hi Erin! Glad you showed us the new Guerlain bottles. I loved the previous bottle and price tag better lol I grabbed Angelique Noir in the old packaging and its my fave vanilla but for those who cannot get their hands on the old bottles i would recommend VCA bois dore or orchidee vanille, both awesome vanillas. Im on the hunt for thr best vanillas and i have Initio Parfums Absolute Aphrodisiac and Indult Tihota next in my wishlist.

Yep, that new SDV price tag should allow you to "customize" the bottle to three times its size! Lol!
I just ordered the Seven Virtues Vanilla Woods from Sephora, I am so looking forward to receiving it. I think it will be wonderful to layer it with other perfumes, I also believe it will be great to wear to bed.

@@francine4417 I love Vanilla Woods and yes it layers beautifully with other fragrances and it is great on its own. I actually have a friend who has breathing problems around most fragrances but she is ok if I only wear Vanilla Woods around her.

Love vanillas! Love Guerlain❤️ I would love to hear your thoughts on the ROSE CHÉRIE sample you received. I received 4 samples in the mail for the promotion of the new packaging. I can't decide which one to purchase. I am leaning towards the ROSE CHÉRIE, but after your review, I'm not certain if I should buy the Spiriteuse Double Vanille (I have never smelled it before). I received a sample of the Angelique Noir- I think I need to try that again. It had too many bitter notes at the opening, but I think I need to see how it wears. Love your channel 😊

Goutal Paris is a very famous perfume brand, might not be known in the US that much but it's been around since 1981
To be honest i prefer the old Guerlain packaging...i have Tonka Imperiale and the bottle is simple and classy...stunning! Also for me the scents by Thierry Vasser are THE best!
I agree! And I definitely don't think the new bottles warrant the pricetag, even if they are customizable. They're just okay.

Yes Annick Goutals Nuit et confidences was love at first sniff for me. It reminds me of Orchidee vanille minus the chocolate and with more tonka bean😍😍😍

They changed the packaging for Double Spiriteuse. I have the old one not sure if looks $100 better, lol. It's an old favorite and I wear it anytime. Roja 51 is too powdery on me. I own Santal complet it's topical on me and doesn't last. Nice picks thanks for sharing!
I am in love with Angelique Noire. FYI their engraving machine is broken but you can still pick your plate, cord and seal.
My two new vanillas are Saiph from Tiziana Terenzi it’s AMAZING! And Draco from TT both are so beautiful and soft another really beautiful vanilla is Vaniglia from Acqua Di Parma oh and Vanilla Planifola from Chloe Atelier Des Fleurs I have both the Gurlain you mention and they are magical I didn’t enjoy my gold fluidity Capeline from YSL another to try would love to know your opinion if jumpsuit I’m not sure about it
I absolutely love Atelier Cologne, and I’m heartbroken about what’s happening with the brand right now. I’d love to hear from you about it!!
The new Guerlain bottles are also more expensive because they are 100ml vs 75 :) definitely a price hike regardless. I know some ppl were really attached to the old packaging but I love the new. If you’re into Guerlain vanillas you must try cuir beluga (it’s not leathery at all despite the name)

Indult Tihota is my favorite Vanilla fragrance. Also Mazzolari Vaniglia.
I love vaniglia as well! People tend to pick it up quite fast. It’s a very long lasting, beast mode scent. Great sillage too.
I always keep a bottle of Tihota on hand.
Does Mazzolari project better than Tihota?
You should try "accident a la vanille" it's like a creamier extrait version of tihota.
@@Violetk1 I think Tihota has better longevity but not super great compare to Vaniglia. For me vanillas do not last long but I like reapplying them, vanillas are awesome to reapply throughout the day because they’re soft and quiet.

Love going back and rewatching fragrance videos to see how they held up over time. Needless to say Guerlain Double Vanille and I are still besties ❤. I love the fragrance house and keep going back to purchase them as sweet gifts for myself ❤🎉
I love Spiriteuse and Tonka Imperiale. However I have to recognize Creed Sublime Vanille as one of the greats. I have EBK Ruby N Vanille but I don't love it as much as other people do.
Much prefer the old bottle design and size. The old box material is also more elegant and durable. If 100ml price per ml is same as 75ml price per ml, it is a price rising already.

I have Angelique Noire, I will check their website and see if I will like the one you suggested. I want to smell it first before i spend $320. Got the Roja 51 after you reviewed it. I wore it to work today and i can still smell it on my shirt 12 hours later. I like that it's subtle . I will wear fluidity Gold on Monday, another marvel. Love the Fall and Winter perfumes. Great Collection, thanks for sharing.
The new Guerlains aren't that much more expensive because they are 100ml. The old packaging was 75ml.

You need to try the kayali sweet diamond pink pepper or the white flower one- they are my favorite
I see you go more for niche. Love Guerlain. Hypnotic Poison Eau de Parfum is a really great vanilla, almond, licorice. Performs great too. Not available retail in the US but you can find it.
I believe Ulta has it.

Roja 51 is so soft that I can barely smell anything. I may have to really over-spray this fragrance.
Indult from Tihota is the most authentic vanilla. You must try it if you haven’t.
My favourite vanilla’s fragrances are Nuit et Confidences et Angélique Noire. I think that the Vanillas are close to each other, maybe it is Vanilla of Madagascar in the Guerlain Fragrance…
So strange that everyone seems to say Spiritueuse is a dark bold vanilla when I get the exact opposite. Such a light vanilla I’ve learned to appreciate but definitely wasn’t the bold vanilla I was looking for. Roja 51 is so beautiful I’m only holding off on buying for the performance. Although it’s sooo good I’m almost willing to reapply every 30 min!

Hi, Erin, you should smell Victorias Secrets Bare Vanilla, its really inexpensive, but the smell of it its like the fresh vanilla pod its so sexy and you will smell like vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, you are so pretty as always, i love this review 😃

Yes, mine is also a purple pink colour, I believe its the vanilla that turns a little darker after a while.
