I just finished the install. Many people had trouble with the big air box screws lining up for all three bolts. Some commented on other videos they got 2 and called it good. There was no instruction about the air intake snorkel piece either resting against the inside fender OR inserting the flange part into the fender like the factory one was positioned. I found that in order to get those 3 bolts to begin to line up easily for the air box I had to insert that air intake flange like the original factory one(inside the fender). I had no problems finding the 3 bolt holes for the air box and it is now secured. You will want to install that big rubber side cover BEFORE putting the air box in the truck. It was a PIA to install once I got the air box bolted in place. Also put the bolt through that thick rubber mount before putting the air box in the truck. You may want to use black double sided mounting tape from eBay to make a better air tight seal from that air intake flange piece to the air box, make sure surfaces are clean.

Video was generally helpful. He avoided to show a couple of headaches for sure. Thanks a lot dude. But anyways, hardest part for me was the third screw closest to the grille to fasten the box. Was having such a difficult time I took the box back out and tried to screw in the screw just into the hole to check fitment and it didn’t fit, have to rework the hole to get it to work. Give yourself more than an hour, try about two hours due to minor headaches.

I just got finished with the install (2007 Tundra) and also had the most difficult time with the bottom box bolts. It's confusing that the one corner that you place the grommet under the box has two holes in it. Ended up that the smaller hole is the water drain (if water ever gets inside from off-roading or whatever). I finally took the air box out completely and lightly Super Glued (not the gel type-original faster drying type) the bottom to of the grommet with a Phillips screwdriver through the hole of the grommet and into the bolt hole and standing straight up; and also giggled it around a little bit to make sure that it was in center. Don't get any Super Glue into the bolt hole! Left it alone about 20 minutes and it was solidly stuck. The bolt went easily into the hole, but I overtightened it and couldn't get the other holes to line up until I loosened it quite a bit. Smooth sailing after that hour and half debacle, lol.
P.S. - I couldn't get my sensor off, probably age and I didn't want to damage it so I just did it work in place.

I got mine installed thanks to you! S&B is a great product. Be careful polling the sensor off! Don't pull on it, there's a button at the back on, right on the top rim, I had to use the handle of a plastic knife to push it in. The hardest thing to install is the screws for the air box, to make that process easier put the screw through the air box and into the washer, don't try to balance the washer, get as much of the screw past the washer bottom and Use the screw end to align into the hole. For the tubing just come in from the top no need to place the whole thing in the air box. Good Luck

Im thinking about buying one and installing on my 2015 1794 tundra. Does anyone have any downsides to doing this? Any risks I should be aware of?

Would this work on a GX460, since the engines are similar as well as how the throttle body is positioned. Couldnt find anything on the forums, which is why I ask, due to the limited aftermarket for the gx460
