These are very high quality campers, and there are many different variations. It would be more helpful if you compared one to another, and showed different features side-by-side, both in the long bed and short bed models.

Nice looking camper.
All it needs is a fifth wheel hitch in some Wheels it would be a mini 5th wheel.
When plugged into the truck, and the truck is running, does that also charge your aux batteries in the rear compartment or do you need shore power?
The truck hotline will charge them however it is slower. Solar panels charge them all day long.Shore power charges them off the converter
Now if norther lite would just fix there quality control issues. The battery compartment looks like a spaghetti wireing mess. 10 individual circuit hooked to the battery instead of spending $5.00 on a combiner circuit block. Also dont forget the cheap pwm charge controlwr instead of a mppt controller.

U-shape dinette would be preferable, and built-in generator is a must...
Would that work on a 6.5 box with the tail gate down, not removed.
Who buys a pickup with a 6.5' box? Baaahahahaha
