    If you are interested in this camper I recommend you also look at the Northstar Igloo. The Northern Lite seems to have a higher level of trim and also is set up for 4 season camping. My Igloo has way more storage: a huge storage area over the dinette, clothing lockers not only below but also above the bedroom windows. The dump valves on my Igloo are located outside the unit and could freeze but I do gain another outside locker for storage. The Northern Lite does also have a generator compartment but the generator cannot be used while in the compartment. On the Igloo, the generator compartment has ventilation screens and the generator can operate while in the storage area. The NL does have basement storage which is not available on the Northstar. The biggest difference is the cassette toilet on the Northstar. A cassette means more frequent dumping but it can be dumped into regular dumps, outhouses, and flush toilets.

      Someone would be foolish to buy a Northstar over this camper. This is a 2 piece clamp shell and the Northstar is nothing more than a stick built Lance that is white. Look at all the seams in the northstar.

    Yep yep I'll take it. Won't complain on price tag either. Definitely would put it on a dually tho. No doubt your overloaded without the dually. Knock knock knock goes the diesel. Put another solar panel on it and a heat bulb by those pipes.

      All truck campers are ridiculously over priced for a box that sits in the bed of your truck and has floor space of only 8 to 10 feet long.

      @@Robocoppat there is no provincial sales tax in Alberta. You would be wise to order and buy there, then drive out to pick it up and camp on the way home. You don't license a truck camper so it is not registered. They are rich, they are the best. Watch for a used one and be prepared to grab it quick because they sell fast.

      @wingmanalive Před 4 lety

      Yup, I was going to say that this is maybe $12,500? $45k???????? I can buy a house in Georgia on 10 acres for that. To get a truck camper for this $$ is insane. I bought my used 26' fifth wheel camper that had MUCH more room than this with a full bath, master bedroom, full kitchen and slept 6 for only $6500. It was great for camping, hunting and whatever. I know things are more expensive in Canada but that's just crazy.

    • @scallywag6768
      @scallywag6768 Před 4 lety +4

      @@wingmanalive they are pricey, no doubt about that. Compare NL to Lance or Arctic Fox or any other quality truck camper. They are all pricey. They have all the amenities as a trailer or 5th wheel to fit on the back of a pickup truck. If you are just looking at price per square foot this rig is not for you. NL is a 4 season camper with a 6 year structural warranty. No body else offers that. It has only one seam and the roof penetration caulking to maintain. They will last decades with little care in my rainforest environment. Everything else I had leaked and rotted out. What is worse than a rotten RV?

    OK ... a fine camper, but I will tell you that the screen doors with the brush at the bottom DO NOT KEEP OUT MICE. Give me the regular screen door with a restraint any day. What a pain. You sit out at night with friends gabbing and leave the screen in place and find that all you food has been 'sampled' by these little #$%^&. Some ideas work well in a subdivision, but not in practise. Just saying ... Oh yeah, remember you then have to SLEEP in it with them running around in there. Next time I think the President of the company should have this privilege and that would be the end of that.
