I love my gen7. Done a few upgrades. Only thing that has went south is my steering servo. Upgraded to a better one. Can't beat it for the money.
Very nice truck. Very underrated due to expensive crawlers out there. I definitely want to buy one. Of course the first thing I would change is the steering servo, aluminum suspension parts. And use some Duratrax body repair with shoe goo to reduce the annoying sound of the lexan body.
Nice. That combo looks real smooth on the rocks
Perfect video no music I like the sensored brushless system
Awesome video excellent upgrade to a pretty good truck
really good video the vehicle really lasts a lot. I would be interested in a speedrun, let's see what the gear says
its slow, maybe a little faster than stock but still really slow
Nature is awesome, way to send it back by the way, yay. 😂😂😂😂😂👍👊
I love my gen 7
Looks like a pretty nice set up my question is is the esc worth the money.looking for a decent system to put in one of builds.
its a nice system, I feel it will be worth it with the firmware upgrade thats on the way along with the faster motor.
When the guy at my local hobby shop showed me that set up for my scx10ii I laughed so hard when I saw the price, that thing better be made out of gold for that price, or clean your rig for you when your done or something lmao.
Yeah this system isn’t for those on a tight budget. I do have to say it’s oretty nice and better with the firmware update. I recently put up a new video showing the update.
@@ExocagedRC it definitely performs from what I've seen on your testing videos and I would love to get it and love hobbywing but man it's so expensive lol, one of the workers at my local hobby shop went to show me the set-up and when he flipped it over and saw the price he looked shocked and said "that's way too expensive" lmao it was pretty funny he had to go look up prices on the computer to make sure.
Yeah they priced them too high IMO to compete with the Castle Mamba X stuff.
Exocaged RC, whats your opinion on the HW AXE combo compared to the 3Brothers combo you ran?
Hard to compare the two because of the esc they require, as far as raw power I’d say the 3brc is the winner, on sound/noise the Axe wins, versatility the 3brc wins. I’ll get the Axe when they get the firmware fixed and a faster motor and I gotta say the way the Axe works may make you lazy with the trigger finger.
I'm sort of new I have a gen 7 and want to add this kit or another brushless kit am I still able to use the controller that comes with the Gen seven? Thx awesome video !! And the sounds of rubber gripping and birds chirping
Yeah stock radio is fine with the Axe
@@ExocagedRC ty
Which size hex key is used for the grub screw on the pinion gear..??
This one took a 2mm hex wrench.
Are u still able to use stock remote
Yeah
what is the top speed of the car on the road?
not fast enough to waste time measuring it, its similar to stock speed maybe a little faster.
Does the system change settings on what terrain it is??
not really but it runs really well with the way it ramps up the motor torque to get over and through obstacles, the bluetooth app is very nice and super convienient.
Sweet. Thinking about buying one, i thought the tekin roc412 was the best one in my opinion until I heard about this combo.
I waiting for the firmware update and the 3300kv motor, then I'll spend my money on one.
What is the speed of this remote control car?
曾俊 maybe 12mph in stock form
@@ExocagedRCIt's really too slow
曾俊 have you seen my other Gen7 videos? I have a bunch and it can go plenty fast with a faster motor
Why do people take the covers off the spur fear?
Zack Boehme these trucks don’t come with spur gear covers.
Ahh i see. Cool trucks though!
that thing very quiet.
When the brushless system is as expensive as the entire car....
LOL yep!!!
Spacers
??? If you’re talking about wheel spacers to widen it I’ll never use those. Can’t stand em and they mess too much other stuff up.
They work just fine on the Gen 7
I have em on the front..I had the same issues..I just upgraded to the SW4 COMBO brushless system
I won’t run them on anything, added leverage on everything around them. Not for me. The SW4 is best suited for a 6-pole motor for smoothness.
