The different "blinky" are very easy to access. When you click 3 times, the first mode will always be "battery check". It will blink out the voltage of your battery. The 4 blinks and 1 blink that you saw was telling you your battery was at 4.1v If you get 4 blinks and a quick flash, it means 4.0v Now to advance to the other blinking modes in this series of blinkies, just double click to get to the next one.
Now when you click 3 times and hold on the 3rd click (for about 1 second), you will get to the other set of blinking. Again, double click to advance to the next mode in this series. In this series, it will start with whatever mode you used the last time you were in this mode. If you were in candle mode when you turned the light off, it will start in the candle mode next time you enter this series. Press and hold to increase brightness or speed (depends on what mode you are in) and click twice and hold on the second click to decrease brightness or speed. Also, while in candle mode, if you click 3 times, it will start a 30 minute timer, if you click 3 more times, it will then be 60 minutes until it turns off. I think 90 minutes is the maximum you can set.
I hope this helps you understand it better. If you have any questions about other settings or modes, just ask.
Also, to get out of momentary mode, you only need to loosen the tail cap slightly, no need to remove it all the way. And I'm not sure that the green lights in the switch are a good indicator for battery level. They're more for locating the light or switch in the dark and they have 4 different settings, dim, bright, pulse, and off. Just click 7 times from off to cycle through them. I'm not even sure that they turn red when it gets below 15 or 20%. Just click 3 times and check the voltage by counting the blinks, that way you will know within a tenth of a volt.

I like the light. Maybe I'll try one . I was also curious how your work bench is doing since you treated it with the resin top you did. Thanks enjoyed as always.

The green "battery level indicator", has nothing to do with the battery level.

Well, my fav 18650 flashlight will always be my Klarus XT11GT HOWEVER, because its a tactical light it has a larger profile making it not as good for EDC. I've been looking for a slimmer form 18650 w a great UI, high output AND a fair n affordable price. This is it! The Sofrin 31 Pro is fantastic n fits 99% of what I need in an EDC 18650 FL. The price is really great too and you can buy the magnetic tail cap for $2.99. Thank you so much for the heads up on such an awesome light. You are truly among the very few YT reviewers that I absolutely trust. Also, your review style is SO helpful (n entertaining). Be very Blessed my Friend.

@@pawkocz384 it's often on sale on Amazon; somewhere in the mid to upper $50s. It's worth it even at the non sale price. But they just came out w a new version so this one should be a really great price now. The updated one isn't worth it in my opinion.
