- Following up on my previous video about whether or not the Garfield Movie has paid dairy promotion. I suspected there would be a lot more dairy references in the film itself, and this review seems to confirm my suspicion.

It seems that they really put the focus on the cheese in the Italian dishes, not the Italian dishes themselves, which do not require dairy cheese to be Italian.
They need to stop perpetuating animal abuse🥺🥺🥺💔💔💔🐮🐷🐔
If u ever read the comics or remember the show Garfield and Friends Show it takes place close to a farm too.
It's Garfield for fuck sake, obviously there's gonna be cheese
... or maybe its just a movie about a funi lil orange cat, who likes a cheesy Italian food...
Sounds like a great candidate for a dairy promotion partnership, doesn't it...
Such a bizarre thing to get offended by
Eew
If plant milk partnerships were not required to be disclosed, I am sure many "normal" people would be "offended".
💯
Its a movie about a cat who eats lasagna and hates mondays. You for real?
I cheese too very tasty
Have you considered the fact that Garfield is an orange cat that hates Mondays and enjoys lasagna and not the great uprising of the non believers like as a person who enjoys stakes and chicken I don’t care if it’s soooooo bad like first off does it affect you does it matter
And second off you realize that you are defending an animal that can’t comprehend your words and would sell you out for food
Reading the comments here I wonder how many people actually watched the video you made about this. And how many are aware that the US Department of Agriculture actually allocates a part of their budget for promoting dairy products in media.
The full video is well worth watching! czcams.com/video/OnB1iYoubS0/video.htmlsi=cM6vabFcPj99BeN_
Thank you so much! And yes I’m willing to bet many commenters literally only read the title and don’t even watch the full Short! 🥴
PS I’d love to find literature on the media budget-I know it exists but if you have links to where it is officially discussed let me know!
@@TotallyForkable I spent about an hour trying to find anything concrete and it's just completely eluding me. :( The links from the Dairy Program section on USDA's website all lead things that present more like research and innovation.
I asked ChatGPT, which confirmed that yes, they do movie and other media partnerships, but I wasn't able to get anywhere from that either (not even through asking where and how I should apply if I wanted to partner up).
I know also know that not only is "Gonna Need Milk" sponsoring Every Woman's Marathon but they're also doing "The Milk Cup" - a Fortnite tournament for women.
There's just something extra sad about marketing other species' breastmilk to women...
Yes, it seems Marielle's shorts reach a completely different audience than her main videos.
OMG truly, an added layer of disturbing. And thank you for looking for the info; I hate how opaque these things are; it makes it even harder to prove even though we know it's happening.
Is this a joke?
