Here is a Civil Danger Warning Decode Fail on my Radio Shack 12-522 and a compilation of EAS Coastal Flood Warnings. The alerts were caught on NOAA Weather Radio KWO35 and were issued by the NWS in Upton NY. This is one of the best weather radio fails that I ever had. The message is a Coastal Flood Warning with SAME code CFW, but my 12-522 decoded the alert as CDW, the SAME code for Civil Danger Warning. This is the only Civil Danger Warning scroll that has ever appeared on my Radio Shack 12-522. Ironically, this is the second time this has happened to one of my weather radios, after my Radio Shack 12-521 made the same fail here: • {MUST WATCH} EAS #1641...
