I got a tornado watch from a big-ass derecho a couple weeks ago... that usually doesn't happen. What makes it weird is that *NOTHING* happened at all that day. The TOA was cancelled ~6:30pm, 1h30m before it's purge of 8pm was over. [It was on and off, and that's why I don't have weather radios, they would start exploding]
This man pretty much lives in a rough place in NY and NJ if he always gets T Storm Warnings, Special Marine Warnings, Flood Warnings, Tornado Watched and Warnings, he is lucky to have a lot of radios and a Weather Strobe and siren

When it was the day of June 23, 2015 it was my very last day of school for the 2014-2015 year and one of my teachers got me the Midland HH50, but as hours passed I started getting Severe Thunderstorm Warnings as the storms made their way through Pennsylvania and started getting into New Jersey. As always great footage and if you want subscribe to my channel becuase I have NOAA Weather Radio videos too. I am a subsriber to your channel still.
I have so many videos. I remember the day when I got an extreme severe thunderstorm warning 2 regular ones, and a special marine warning.i never got time to upload the videos. But the weather channel did say "a few stay severe thunderstorms are possible. So if I get one, I'll upload it right away!

How did you become a SkyWarn spotter and have you been reporting storm reports to the NWS?
You can take classes at your nearest NWS Office, only if they offer SkyWarn training courses.
I wonder how many you have to take? Also, I would take them just to be a storm chaser.
