This is one of the best singers I’ve heard yet. This is obviously live and there’s no autotune. And it sounds the exact same as it does in the video. Guy has real talent and is extremely underrated

Sorry to disagree - he makes you listen to the lyric without "selling it" or shouting. Pleasant voice, perfect intonation, control of dynamics, phraseology. What's left? Style? He's no Josh Groban, that's for sure, and I'm glad. I'd rather listen to Josh Woodward for hours. @ThomasHendrickson

Unfortunately, this one can't be played without not one, but two capos - plus an odd tuning. I arranged it this way so that I can have the notes in the cluster chords ring out. For instance, the A, Bb and C notes at the end of the first lick in the song are all on separate strings, giving it kind of a haunting, dissonant sound. I wouldn't know where to start with standard tuning. :)
I'm learning this beautiful song, what's the guitar tuning? And yes I do have two capos haha!
@@ethornell7357 Start with E A D F# A E, then put a capo on the first fret, then put another on the third fret, but clamp it so only the bottom four strings are pressed down. 😁

It's kinda weird. Start with E-A-D-F#-A-E. Then put a capo on the first fret. Then put another capo on the third fret, but rig it so that only the bottom four strings are clamped (leave the A-E on top open).

you can play this song essentially note for note without a capo by tuning your guitar Eb - G - C - F - Bb - C (from the bottom). You'll need some slightly more complicated fingerings to play the highest D on the Bb string(4th fret) instead of as an open string. You also get the bass Eb string which is in the studio version. The only drawback is that you can't play Bb C and D all at once as open strings but you can always play Bb and C, or C and D(on the Bb string) which gives the clustering effect just as well. I basically always have a finger on the 4th fret of the F string to cluster the A and open Bb. If anyone wants more details just let me know.
