"LEAK" New Anaheim "Mighty" Ducks jersey revealed.

- So the Anaheim "Mighty" Ducks new jersey and uniform set has been LEAKED out and I have a few thoughts on the new look.

I miss the jade and eggplant
Like you said they went overboard on the orange. The logo is nice however
Larry the eye is a different colors on both Jerseys and they arent bad Jerseys if they are them

I hate that D/duck foot logo and the Ducks name. That's petty of Disney not to allow them to be the Mighty Ducks.
Disney does not own the logo or name. The Samuelis (Ducks owners) changed the name to be there abbreviated better under Anaheim Ducks. Everything was sold to the Samuelis.
Um, the Samuelis were the ones who were more so wanting to ditch the Mighty Ducks branding.
@@NHLCrazy2007 They should go back to it. The Ducks are about the least serious or intimidating name you can pick.
Ya see I had heard initially that it was Disney who wouldn't give them the trademark to the name or logo so that's why they weren't allowed to use it which threw me off because if you buy the team all the trademarks should go with it but from what I had heard initially when the name change happened was that Disney wanted to still do mighty duck stuff like movies or TV shows and if they didn't have that trademark they couldn't do that anymore that's what I remember hearing initially about why the name and logo change happened
The one thing I don't care for with the shoulder yoke is like the Flyers new home and road jerseys, there is no outlining of it. Looks incomplete. Think of what the Flyers did for their 1982-2007 jerseys. It just looks better. I hope to God it does not look unfinished if that is what the road jersey will be.
Overall I'm very excited with the Ducks rebrand back to the Mighty Ducks primary logo full time and even "modernizing" it. Looks amazing from the leaks.
And some fans will never be happy. They wanted the straight throwback to the eggplant and jade jerseys. I think if they brought the eggplant jersey as a future alternate, maybe just maybe that would be enough to satisfy them. And no, they don't need the Mighty Ducks name back, but I'm not against it.
as a Flyer fan i do like the one color numbers on the sleeves the number stands out more to me with out any trim on it same with the old black sleeve trim and that is how the Orange Flyers jerseys looked , they mixed both the original Jerseys with the 80s Jerseys to get the logo and they changed it up enough to make it not a true throw back now if they just change the orange on the black 3rd jersey
That's a good point maybe a black outline around the shoulder yoke might have been a good touch and I wouldn't object if they went back to the original purple eggplant and jade colors as a 3rd with that mighty ducks shoulder logo
I think they should switch the pants and helmets to black and I think it would look so much better
I do agree a little black I think needs to be in there somewhat to break up the traffic cone look
@@LHOH197 yeah I just noticed also the reverse retro the ducks did like a year plus ago, looks very similar to the away jersey that they just came out with
Then someone predictably whines it looks too similar to the Flyers. Just like some piss and moan about the Lightning looking like the Maple Leafs.
As a Ducks fan if it isn't broke don't change it. For so many years they rather keep toying with the logo and jerseys instead of just giving what will sell. You want to make money then give what the fans want. There was a trademark put in under Orange County. If its Orange County Mighty Ducks sorry thats horrible.
I like the new uniforms logo looks pretty cool. Those orange pants on the Home uniform need to go and they need to be black. I don’t mind the pants with the uniform. Also looks like there are numbers on the away. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I don’t think they should go back to mighty ducks. I don’t like that name it’s little too cartoonish.
Ya I don't know if they'll actually go back to being the mighty ducks but I do like that they're going back to the older more updated mighty ducks logo
The notion that Disney owns the trademark to the Mighty Ducks and that’s why the team had to make a change is beyond false. I really don’t get why that is the common belief out there. The team was the Mighty Ducks during the 05-06 season when the owners were not Disney. The new owners changed the name, logo and colors for two reasons. 1. Brian Burke and the front office hated it and 2. Season ticket holders voted in favor of a change. That was it and all. Nothing to do with Disney.

jokes aside, in my honest I am not a fan really, it's mostly though I hate yellow and orange as a main colour
It never bothered me. The same old recycled colors get stale quick.
