I never had a more thrilling game in my life, so I decided to share it with you all..

That was awesome, I think the biggest mistake your opponent did is that he was building fortresses and defenses instead of eliminating at least one of you.

good video, i had this game for years but never played online once, always played skirmishes and the world map things ( cant remember ) i going to have to dig this game out again with the hobbit coming out its turned me into a right Lord of the rings geek lol
still play this game a lot, and I gotta say. That was EPIC
i started crying when Gimli jumps and shouts AHA! then powers the elves

Armory Upgrades are crucial for the dwarfs....your guardians were picked apart because you never upgraded their armor and weapons. Anyway great game and video :)
I must say...that was a pretty good comeback, considering you guys lost the castles...
i miss this game :( i played the original BFME and then played BFME II i had one of the best non glitched custom heroes in the game and i wish they never closed the servers some of my greatest memories with my cousin was playing this game

Typo fu No, it allows you to play through LAN, like Hamachi, but easier.

Nice battle, and video. For heroes, i always liked the king dain+Gloin combo myself. Having two heals, with their high health makes them last forever . and king dain's unit boost is great as well. I hope they make a new game eventually. Figure out the rights and get the great game made
For some reason, I never liked Dain.. But if it's a 4k game, I definitely use that combo, it gets really close to being OP :)

this battle reminds me of the battle on the 'Eastern Front' during WW2 at first your enemy is winning but then you smash back with a giant counter attack

There is nothing more horrifying than watching a squadron of Mirkwood archers trotting towards you. Damn near breaks the game.

Oeha brings back memories.. played this game and BFME 1 and RoTWK so much ;Dd i hope they will make a follow up game in a sort of Hobbit theme.. like a updated version of the Dwarves and men of Dale.. and maybe the Elves.. if they do it i hope it will be the same menu and gameplay as this game.. i played to much hours on this game ;Dd

It's kinda ironic. 'Cause he loved the elves, he was fighting the elves, and when he died, he said that.
That depends on the race you want to fight with. Some different tactics for, lets say Dwarves, are: Gloin rush (as in this video), Guardian rush (pumping out Guardians), early Battle Wagons etc.. Just google them!

That's a rule in this game. One group of guardians would easily tear it down, no need for 4-5 of them.

Had this game and played it religiously about 4 years ago, just got back into it for summer :P
one question...how did resources did you guys start with and did you increase the command point limit?
Could you make another one, and 3 questions? 1 how many players would you average play this game? 2 Do you know any sites other than amazon (where it's like $133 for a new version) where I can get this game, and for under $50 new preferably? And 3 do you still play this game?

And I did just that, at the end (10:53) and that was the main reason I was abled send in all of my forces. It would take them ages to destroy that baby ^^

Gameranger is an internet gaming service.. Easy to download and set up.
Down side is - you can't see levels and very few players on it :/

Try to upgrade ur castle with towers and those stuff in it. Cause sometimes u might need it when u are with just the castle.
