Seems like 99% of these kinds of videos have music, so I was pleasantly surprised when this one didn't.
I think the music reinforces the setting like the radios in gta, so I think they really build the world you are masterfully creating. Incredible video btw!
The whole city looks incredibly gorgeous, I can only imagine having the ability to build something so picturesque and natural as this! :O
I do appreciate these videos, they make me want to drive in this region myself! Note that hese types of cabover, or flat front, trucks pretty much never haul trailers in the US. You only have the conventional tractors in the US. This style of truck, in the US, may be used for garbage trucks or fire engines, but not long-haul trailers! :)

I see plenty of cabover trucks on the highway, I have not seen any log trucks that are not conventional though. The climate is probably not identical to the San Francisco Bay area and very much not LA but if you want vineyard inspiration we have plenty of wineries in the Willamette Valley. I don't recommend a visit right now though due to some huge fires.

Aw, the audio was aaaaaalmost perfect! Those classic Californian segmented-prefab-concrete-slab-roads have a very distinctive KACHUNK, KACHUNK, KACHUNK, KACHUNK sound when you drive over them.

These videos are very relaxing, I wish I had the skill/time/patience to make a city look this detailed. One thing that always brings my "realistic" cities to a halt is laying out roadside guard railing, I just end up giving up lol.

How I wish I had a pc that can handle this level of detail. I'm stuck around the vanilla game and I've been itching to start using mods - the farthest I got was traffic manager. Basically my pc can't handle shit and it takes about 20 mins. to load my city.
Anyways, you've been always one of my inspirations when it comes to city-building simulation. I've been following you since episode 1 of this series and you never cease to amaze me with your creativity and attention to detail.
One day when I'm able to afford a decent pc, I'll start my own city and everything will be an ode to your greatness.
Keep up the good work.

The detailing is simply stunning and I particularly enjoy the photo-realism in various spots. The floating white pickup trucks in the parking lot and on the highway were jarring though. Also, the mashup of US-style vehicles and highway signs with European-style Speed Limit signs was like a splinter in the eye. Aside from those two things this is as close to "real" as I've seen to date. Bravo!

God, how I wish I had your level of patience to deal with the road builder and traffic in this game. I would love to make these kinds of cities, but my PC would never handle the amount of people in it. It took fifteen minutes to load a city with just over 120k people, and that's not even half the amount of people that live in my own hometown.

the road builder is quite good i think, after trying to build a track in GTA none of the limitations of the Cities Skylines roads are too bothering
as for performance, sadly the game doesn"t really take advantage of multiple cores
