During my third botw playthrough I started to get a more thorough appreciation of cryonis, and it actually indeed might have turned into the one I used the most.
The fact that this game is running on the switch is mind-blowing
that's why we have to be tough with the developers, otherwise they become lazy who only make excuses
@_TheLost ehhh there's a balance imo.
Totk wasn't made overnight, the devs spent 5/6 years making the game, and when the game was finished, they pushed back the release by a whole year to polish the game.
Being hard on devs doesn't equal a good game (cough cough *Pokémon*)

@Josh Exactly, you're right, anyway there are many games that have had more than 6 years of development and have been a disappointment. Cyberpunk is a good game right now, specially the spectacular high end graphics that are mindblowing. But on the release day was the shittest shit. And the story is kinda... boring to be honest.

Nice. Just a piece of advice, when you throw non-diamond gems(Topaz, sapphire, ruby, and opal) It will produce a very large wave of that element. When you throw a non-diamond gem, throw it far away because you could die if you throw too close. Also shards of the dragons have the same effect, very large wave.
you could also fuse a gem to a weapon for a similar effect
I have killed myself in a ruby explosion way too many times

For that reason, I've found it better to just go into my inventory and drop it instead. I'd rather the extra tedium than fucking dying.
I think you can get the same effect with fusing sapphire to a weapon but this is great cause it actually looks more like you’re laying the ice

I'm doing as many shrine as I can, uncovered roughly a bit more than half the map, 50 hours in and I haven't found a puzzle involving that.
I like how the gameplay was sped up but the timer was normal 😂

Also works with any ice enemy part, ice gleeoks are best becouse you can use the ice effect infinitly without needing to recharge

The most unbelievable thing about this is that you put down so many blocks without the weapon breaking.
If he wasn't hitting anything he shouldn't be using durability, right? I guess it could be like an elemental rod and still degrade in that way though.

@@readyplayerthree3 Any weapon with the ability to utilize elemental effects breaks down durability just by using the elemental ability. It's the same as rods with other weapons you give elemental abilities. I made the mistake of thinking the power alone would mean the weapon wouldn't break
The ice breaks off eventually but that’s why u fuse it again with one of spare ice u were just making
@@typh2630 Just fuse an ICE LIZALFOE HORN to a spear. It doesn't break, it doesn't lose durability and it has the best range
I feel like swimming with the right armor would've been faster and easier at that point. Granted you'd lose a decent chunk of stamina but still.

I miss using remote bombs and all of the old BotW features on the old Sheikah Slate. Along with all of the other deceased Champions abilities.
Now that you mention the champions, where did the divine beasts even go? Yeah I get it seems like 6 or so years past in hyrule so they could demolish them but then surely we’d see a lot of ancient tech

I am one of the few people who used cyanosis a lot. It is actually my most missed ability it was really so useful so I am going to steal this idea now

I learned this trick in a shrine by accident. One of the proving grounds, a stealth one I think. Loot was the bow, some arrows, 3 fire fruit, a stick, and a long stick. They were the archers on boats spinning in circles, the ice one tried to shoot me and made an ice thing. I even carry around an ice emitter weapon just because but still haven’t used this truck until now I guess I can’t pretend I forgot as a reason for why I swim.

I knew about making ice platforms, but I didn't know attacking with an ice weapon could do it. That's insanely useful, especially since elemental weapons don't take damage from just swinging.

I discovered this when I fused a frost talus heart to my master sword and swung at the water for.. some reason
I found this out after trying everything at the shrine just before dueling peaks.
Huh. I knew you could make platforms with ice fruit etc, but never realized you could do it with ice weapons too.

Wow, and the ice block on the weapon lasts until the weapon break?
Actually, as long as you don't hit anything, the weapon and fused ice block never breaks. This does not apply to most of the other projectile/utility fuses though, but this one is permanent as you can see. The stick has around 20 durability and he did way more ice blocks. Fused stick maybe 30 cause the ice is not durable as a wespon
