This is the best looking car in the class imo, absolutely gorgeous. Could use some more power on type s trims and maybe a digital cluster.
Good video, Ben. I built these cars at the Honda assembly plant in Marysville, Ohio.
Why does so many ppl downplay the TLX because of its horsepower? I always thought luxury cars were more about longevity and a very smooth ride rather than bolting down highways like a Hellcat
Agree 💯. I'm not looking for a race car but a dependable car that also looks good. The TLX is the one.
Thanks for uploading video, just bought mine and picking it up next week.
Brought mines in 2022!! My only issue is the back seat space!!
This is the only sedan I would've own Ben.
I looked at the 2023 TLX today. Wow. I have a 2020 TLX and 2023 is so freaking awesome 👍. Looking to trade soon.
I have the base 2021 and looking at 2023 there’s literally nothing new kinda disappointed because my lease is over this year and was debating about the newest model
May I ask the engine in the 20?
Love the interior of these new TLXs, recently purchased a 2023 TLX Type-S and its been a blast to drive!
Congratulations 🎊! Do you think it has enough horsepower and torque because a lot of car reviewers say its kinda disappointing. I like the way they look and the interior definitely screams premium.
@@macjoseph2375 for daily driving yes it does, it truly does @ 355hp & 354 ft-lb of torque you can pretty much outpace and be faster than most daily traffic you’ll encounter.
They only disappointed because it’s not fast enough to beat out most of the other competitors in the segment. This car is meant to be a fun daily driver that’s performance oriented with a luxury focus.
If you wanna be the fastest car on the street you’ll need to look at M340i or go balls-to-wall and get a M3 Competition
@@marco30599 3.0l?
@@DentSideDee71 yeah
I’m planning on getting one is the drive and experience worth it.
Hey Ben, how would you feel considering the Platinum vs the Type-S trims?
So good to Drive on the street and the seat are very good driving corner ect love it
Not sure it compares as well to the Lexus ES 350. While better on power and performance features, it falls behind on interior cabin quality and infotainment features. I like the TLX exterior over the ES, but for old guys like me, the ES 350 seems to be the better overall package for the features I am looking for. Will have to check out both on the road to confirm my assumptions, of course.
Should have kept using the 3.5 V6 like Lexus dose on the ES 350. Honda's 3.5 V6 is a great engine. Very fun to drive.
Any word if the 2024 TLX will have a touch screen rather than a mousepad?
What Honda dealership is great and doesn’t charge markups over MSRP?
This is amazing
Ive still got an 07 type S. Tempted to get one of these tho
leg room in the back looks pretty solid?? it looks cramped and as hell . your knees are not even straight and pointing to the sides because there's no space.
I feel like the apple car play never works. I just go this car and it always disconnects. I also don’t find that it drives as smooth. Not sure what the difference between the normal and comfort drive setting is.
How's the gas on these? Takes super only?
Great short video straight to the point
Does anyone know when Acura will be redesigning TLX? The last upgrade was done in 2021. Just curious, wanted to know if it will be in 2024 or 2025
Probably 2025
@@iznxan lol no way. 2028 minimum
We just got a redesign? Why would we get another one any time soon
im going to get one…..from my grandma will once its her time to go be with big man. (its a yr 19)
That is affordable for a sport sedan comparing to european brands, the interior is nice.
Hopefully, the 2024 refresh will have a digital cockpit and touch infotainment
Do we know roughly how long until that comes out?
@@Sleepyboiwonder By the end of the year, as a 2024 model. MDX will also get a refresh
Yes
No car is worth buying right now
Right they cost too much.
Why???

@@minipandora22 I can’t stand these politicians! America spoke. Evidently thats what the majority wants! Open borders, inflation, out of control spending. It actually makes me accepting. I don’t want it, but voters wanted it…OK.
Bmw M3?
Why can't they make a hybrid version?
Its nice but you can get a mazda 3 turbo which is faster acceleration, 10K cheaper, and better gas mileage.
Acura interior design isn't exactly ground breaking to justify the purchase either.
I would buy the Advance model today if it wasn’t for the low profile tires that are horrible in the snow and offer little protection to the potholes and road imperfections in the Northeast.
So you wouldnt recommend it if u live in the Northeast?
No because the 19 inch rims will easily bend when hitting a pothole because there is little rubber between the road and rims. Also they wear worse than conventional tires. I would consider buying one if they didn’t have those tires.
I miss when this car was a V6
Honda makes a descent AWD system with SH-AWD. Never understood why they generally reserve it for Acura only. An Accord and Civic even with SH-AWD lite would be nice. Even the Prius, Corolla and Camry can be had with AWD.
The Pilot, Passport and Ridgeline all have a similar system to SH-AWD, I forgot what they named it but it’s almost mechanically identical to SH-AWD.
The Honda Legend and NSX were the only cars in Australia to utilise the SH-AWD system. Its pretty exclusive to Acura.
@@drivescene6747 They names it i-VTM4 which stands for intelligent variable torque management. Its FWD biased and SHAWD is rear biased (when turning)
i ve been debating on trading in my 21' Mazda3 in for a brand new TLX but i dunno yet
Do it. I love mine
Is there a spare tire in the trunk?
No, just fix-a-flat kit.
Rear seat room looks smaller than an Accord.
Acura is the only car I can trust
I have a 22 accord 2.0 t……I’m not paying 50,000 for a fancy accord.
Looks like the new Accord 2023 without the 10 speed 2.0 will lead to more sales with the TLX!
who doesn't have a touchscreen in 2023??
Where is remote start? Even Acura S type don't have it.... Way cheaper brand s have it at this time
I find the Lexus IS 350 better looking interior and exterior than the tlx
Not charging over MSRP is now considered a great deal... so the dealership can make like 10K or more on the car. American greed at its best!
The TLX is a flop. It has lousy MPGs, no remote start on the key fob, and has SMALLER interior space than the CIVIC!!
Rear leg room is completely unacceptable for how much of a boat this car is.
Thanks for the review nonetheless
This is basically a luxurious Honda accord. Same size. Similar power outputs. Amazing review and content. Keep up the great work Ben!!
Not even close
Not related to the Accord at all, and they might have similar exterior dimensions but the interior space is night and day between the two
Accord is way more spacious inside
I have an acura. You really feel the difference in performance and comfort. But its definitely not an economy car.
Thee talks too rapidly. Love the content.
Nothing changed….same as TLX 2021
No car is worth buying. Index funds are worth buying.
Too small inside, no leg room in the back👎🏼
2L 4 cylinder that’s so sad
Acura sales have gone down ⤵️
Honda was hit harder than most manufacturers by supply chain issues
All car manufacturers sales are down you clown shoe.
Still great cars. I see alot of acuras on the road.
Sharp car…to much tech,to expensive. Is Honda a thing anymore? A good salesman helps 😊
*o,*o 😂
No stick no good on an emergency take off I don't wanna hear it sucks bottom line but beautiful car cause I love Acura TLX but the stick part I don't like
