I didn't know the composer Pietro Nardini -- and I am Italian, shame on me! Congratulations to the Quartetto Eleusi for their recordings full of grace and soul, thanks to all the staff at Brilliant Classics for allowing me to discover this masterful author.
Very fine indeed. All the Italian composers of quartets (Boccherini, Viotti, Cambini, et al) have a fluent melodic sense and a gracefulness that makes their music a delight to the ear and easy on the nerves. Thanks to Brilliant Classics for bringing these gems to us.
