🔥🤘🏽🔥 cool vid 🔥nice upgrades 🔥
thank you.. something a lil different..
I cant believe all the cool upgrades that are available for the Typhon Grom. I wonder if stainless bolts would be stronger and not break as easy. All I can say is you sure are going all out on your Typhon and it really looks nice. Thanks for sharing all the upgrades and cool advice on what you had to go through to get everything to fit up correctly. Awesome job buddy. 🏆
thank you bro. I appreciate that. I wish they did have a specific stainless steel bolt kit for the groms, I think they do but im not 100%. I told a buddy of mine to do the same thing if your looking to go billet, get steel screw kit, save the headache of having the screws break. I have changed my hubs 2x on both groms because of broken screws. I still have a body to paint for the blue grom one thats coming up next. I'm going silver!
@@MrMeDos Honestly bolts shouldn't break off so easily. None of my cars came with stainless hardware and it sucks when they rust after the first time they see any water. You might not be able to find a stainless set for the grom but you can buy stainless hardware separately in different sizes. Figuring out the lengths and head types is a PITA but it's worth the effort. I cant wait to see how nice your Grom looks in silver.
What’s up Mr. Me Dos. The red joint is looking good dressed in black, love that TrailBoss too. I installed those arrma shocks today too. Put them on stock out of the package but took them off right away and put some 70wt oil. They still felt a bit bouncy so I ended up putting 100wt in the rear, left the 70wt up front, and put the stock shocks springs on the upgraded shocks. Stock springs are a little bit shorter and let the car settle down a bit instead of being fully extended at rest. Just my observations and thought I’d share.
Your right, the shocks could use thicker oil fresh out the bag. I mixed mine with diff fluid , got my special sauce. But the all red shocks i had leaked out overtime and i just said forget it and slapped these arrma joints on. Lol
I beat you to a new body by 3 days! Loving the typhon grom content tho. Hoping some aftermarket companies start making good parts for them (diffs mostly but also shock tower strentgthening, etc)
Lol. I posted it on my IG 5 days ago, just got around to post the vid on youtube. Yeah i wish they hurry up and make some parts. Lol
Sorry man,I feel bad… for your big truck in other video…. Wish the crash didn’t happen… keep thinking about it…
Its all good bro. I'm rebuilding it this week.. minor setback for a major comeback! God is Good, I'm blessed to be in this position to rebuild.. It will be back on the channel soon.
Im sorry if i missed it in the vid but where did you get the body from? It looks way better then the 2 options we get from new lol
i painted it bro.. got it from horizon hobby..
@MrMeDos oh lol it definitely looks good man good job!. Gonna start seeing what colors to paint my 2 with
Whats that plate u have on the front? How can I get one?
Thats a rpm front bumper from a losi mini-t 2.0 buggy.. they sell them on amazon for 11-13 bucks.
