  • Hello and welcome back,
In today's video, we will show you how to remove the Peugeot 508 door handle
When you open the door on the inside there is a little cover which we will remove. Next, we will need to remove the cover trim on the door pull handle. Start from the bottom get in between the cover and handle with a very thin small tool, and work your way gently to remove the cover.
Underneath the cover, there are two torx screws we need to remove. Next, we will remove the courtesy light to the bottom of the panel. Finally, the window switch with a plastic tool starts from the rear of the switch and lifts it up as it's held on by clips.
The door panel itself is held on by clips on the inside, even if you use a clip remover and do it these clips do break, keep that in mind. Start from the bottom of the panel and pull it out, next, you will need to slide the panel up to detach it from the window seal.
To remove the door handle itself when you open the door on the inside there is a little cover next to the door lock. Underneath there is a torx screw which you will need to unscrew. From the outside, whilst pulling the door handle into the open position, wriggle out the key barrel. Once that is out, close the door handle slide it towards the rear of the vehicle, and pull it out.
Refitting is following steps taken in this video in reverse order.
Hope you all enjoy this video and find it helpful
