haha it certainly was exhausting & this was the most I had been thrown around in my reserve days so far in my time as an FA, but there are so many benefits and pros to this job that it totally outweighs the cons. but yes, by the end of this week, I was ready to go home & to rest for daaayyysss

The best message for all travellers is flight attendants work damned hard and should be respected for doing so. Yes, sure, lots of travel, but this video sums up the commitment that many would simply not tolerate in their jobs. Good on you Kendra.
For those wondering how a life of a flight attendant goes???? This is it y’all! Lol 😂 so luxurious and restful I’m a a flight attendant btw so I know exactly what u talking about girl! Yaaay what an adventure being a FA. our schedules are always messed up! We don’t know what day it is anymore! All we know is sign in times and van pick ups times lmao 🤣. I don’t know how we still make it to workout and everything! It’s Tough! Being a flight attendant is definitely a life style! You got it girl! Keep being strong and hope to get to work with you one day! 🎉

reserve days can sometimes put you through the ringer but there are so many pros and benefits to this job that it outweighs the cons. this vlog was definitely the most that I have been thrown around on my reserve days (in my time as an FA so far) and I felt it was important to be realistic and detailed about it for authenticity. to be honest, it can certainly get exhausting but I just went to Korea & I’m about to go to london and those are both work trips & I think to myself “how lucky am I that I get to see all these incredible places as a junior flight attendant”.
I haven’t decided exactly where I want to go in February but I might shoot for slc. we plan to move out of slc around late spring of next year so that might change where I transfer to.

Can you hold Salt Lake City as a base?
I can hold it, yes, but the base transfer my air line did unfortunately did not line up with the timetable for the slc base for me. I know that sounds confusing but it’s the easiest way to describe it. I might transfer there next spring, I have not yet fully decided

Are you able to fly nonstop Boston to Salt Lake on another carrier?
there definitely might have been another airline I could have flown standby on, the only issue is if I couldn’t get on that flight due to available seats and where I am on the standby list, then I would be stuck in Boston overnight. at least with flying my air line to atl then to slc, I knew I had a spot and could make it home for sure.
