You could consider either a side slide vertical orientation or a side slit horizontal orientation. I think it just might look even cleaner. Just my personal opinion tho. The prototype looks cute

Make sure whatever orientation you’re decorating aligns with the writing on the paper. Here, you decorated it as if we’re being presented the cake but the writing is upside down from our perspective. You can also print on both sides of the paper so whether they pull left or right, it comes out immediately readable. Or you can tell the person picking up which direction to pull and hope they follow through lol. Alternatively, you could have slightly (or drastically) different designs for the front and back and tell people to pull to the left, for example. I think it would be neat to have a default (like this “will you marry me?”) but also give the option of custom writings and fonts (that may or may not cost more depending on the pricing you decide on). I don’t think I like the anticipation (ellipsis) in writing, but others may disagree. That could also be a custom option, or alternative default option at no cost. And contrary to what others have said, I don’t think there needs to be an “I love you.” That should be in the preproposal speech😅.

That's nothing you can change. It all depends on which direction you pull it out. Pull it to the left and it's not upside down.
Give directions to the server or the guy that the butterflies need to be oriented a certain way so it is right side up for her.
