sequential manual with straight cut gears... a step in the right direction, but truly no better than stock, just stronger internals.

Few things, one- its quiet as hell in that car, two- I want that helmet, and three- its a sequential manual gear box, it still uses 3 pedals, but has dog cut gears, that's why he isn't stiring up the stick like a normal manual

Isn't a sequential still a manual transmission with the difference that you can't skip gears? Like motorcycles?

This is a Sequential Dog-Engagement manual. Like a motorcycle transmission. Gears are selected by shift forks that slide in a ratcheting drum connected to that lever.

No. If you shift bad the gear will still change unlike a semi-auto which wont allow the gear change to occur.

Straight cut gears sound like, sounds tuff. But not very good for road daily driving because have to rebuild them every few thousand miles. Best for racing though

Straight cut gears sounds like that. Very fast precise shifting, good for racing but crap for daily driving because needs to be rebuildt every few thousand miles/kilometres. All race cars use them, unless they auto. These use a clutch to put into first gear then it's just slam the shifter one way 1-2-3-4-5-6 and back the other way to go down.
