KHAJURAHO || KANDARIYA MAHADEV TEMPLE, THE LARGEST TEMPLE OF KHAJURAHO

Kandariya mahadev temple one of the largest of Khajuraho temple complex .It is one of the most developed temple of Nagar temple architecture. This temple is erected in a square uplifted platform called jagati.The other major components of temple include Shikhar, Urushringa, Antaral, Mahamandap, Mandal and ardha Mandal.Tbe main deity was placed at Grabha griha.
Kandariya mahadev being know for its huge size , intricate carvings of sculptures and its phenomenal Architectural style and is one of the best example of Northern​ temple architecture.

You can reach this place using public transport from below mentioned location and also by personal vehicle through GPS Location provided .
