Not very often will I love a cover so much more than the original, but this girl is phenomenal. How she isn't a household name yet is beyond comprehension. She will be. Only recently found this lady on u tube. Now have all her covers on my favs. An incredible talent, very few out there as good as this and i should know, bought my first record when i was 12 am now 69. Music has been my lifeblood. Trust me this is an unbelievable talent best i have heard in years.

This woman does sexy so well. Her voice is sexy, her looks are gorgeous... There are people who try much harder and don't have this, while she just stands there and sings and it's there. Meanwhile she puts her heart into it, and comes across very sincerely. So I reckon she did a wonderful job with this song. Bonnie Tyler was all those things, and Aly nailed it for me.

It's soft, clear but VERY powerful at the end. If Alyona has any fault, it's that her covers are TOO perfect; they sound TOO MUCH like the original. It makes me wonder what the "real" Alyona sounds like! But I'm sure it's pretty damn awesome.

I never really knew what a total eclipse of the heart was until I found Alyona on May, 1 2018, a true Red Letter Day in my life. Now I know what it feels like.

Bogrunberger: let me tell you that if your voice doesn't already have that little bit of raspiness in it that it is hard to make it that way and keep it that way throughout an entire song or group of songs. I can do it bit only through a single song and my throat is always so sore afterwards from stretching its limits. So this girl is a natural at it. If you haven't seen her version of Janis Joplins Piece Of My Heart then I suggest you watch that piece of art as well. She nails it. I grew up in the same time period you did and we listened to a lot of the 60s rock when I was a teenager. This young lady has it all...a great voice, good vocal control, timing, and she's stunning to look at as well. She is exactly what this world looks for when they want a new star. My only hope is that she continues on the way she is and makes it to the top her way and not theirs because the big record producers always seem to corrupt people in the process. She needs to ENJOY it while she's doing it and that is getting to be a lost art. She's awesome

I first heard Miss Alyona sing watching Sina videos, as she is a great young drummer. I loved listening to Miss Alyona singing and watching her. Just recently knowing she is or did take KTVA and have not been disappointed on any of the singers that was or is in the academy. Like Miss Alyona, I can understand all the words, not like many of the famous singers to date, she puts herself into the songs with movements and expressions, plus all seem to put themselves together great in clothing, hair and makeup, as so far I have only listen, to what pops up, ladies videos. This young woman can sing and has the vocals to hit many notes with no problem and can tell she has fun able to sing so many different ranges of songs.

True, frankie28web. Fools or Trolls, but there isn't much difference... Makes them feel powerful. But then when they look in the mirror, they see a pathetic loser-troll that gets their jollies from doing CZcams dislikes on someone that sings so much better than they or their students do.
I first discovered Alyona through the covers she did with Sina and Andrei Cerbu on their channels. So being super impressed with her vocal ability I naturally started looking for more of her music. I was very happy to see YT has tons of it and I've spent the better part of the day listening to this incredible vocalist. Wow! There just aren't very many people in this world that have the ability to float from Janis Joplin to Led Zeppelin to Whitney Houston and not only do an admirable job of covering their songs, but knock them completely out of the park. This young lady has superstar level potential. If I were a record executive for one of the big labels, I'd already have a contract typed and ready to sign for this talented performer! If we could get talented young singers and musicians like Alyona, Sina (drummer), Andrei Cerbu (guitarist) firmly established at the upper levels of the music business, we could finally get back to making good music and put this garbage of the past 15 or 20 years in the dumpster where it belongs. These are real performers with real talent that know what truly good music is when they hear it.

She's more than very good. This gal can parallel both Ann Wilson and Whitney Houston alike, while also replicating many male artists in a higher register. In fact, in many cases, I have to say I am more impressed with Aly's timbre variation and natural vibrato than any other. She is currently the best singer/artist out there in a multi-track/studio situation, waiting for deserved recognition for all the hard work and natural talent.
I am glad that my friend Steve from the UK told me that some of Alyona Yarushina's videos are on your channel, Mr. Tamplin! Now I know where to find them. She is the BEST vocalist I have ever heard, and if you improved her voice, I salute you, sir!!! She is the only artist for whom I have become a Patreon patron. Yes sir! I am amazed at everything she does! By the way, my brother and his wife invited me for dinner tonight. Two of our sister's kids (a niece and a nephew) dropped by afterwards. I showed everyone several of Alyona's YT covers on their smart TV. They all loved her!!! My nephew Benjamin said he has been talking to you on your YT tutorial videos. He and I also love The Moody Blues and Ben said he talked to you about them. It would blow my mind if Alyona covered one of their songs! Now that I am one of her FB friends as well as a patron, I will ask her if she likes them. Love what she does with Michael Jackson songs!
