Thanks all. I am using a tenor uke tuned GCEA - high g. The uke was made by Michigan luthier Dave Talsma.
My favorite "Wave" rendition ever!... A few years ago, I started playing the ukulele after listening to this video 😉👍
Wow, thank you!
Excellent!
Many thanks!
Amazing 😍
Thanks 🤗
WAVE was my first ever LP purchased at about 17. Have loved it ever since. My second LP was West Side Story sound track. I had never heard anything like that music before. Thank you for the lessons. Very clear and concise. I am inspired to have a go on my humble ukulele now.
Perfect! 🎶👏👏👏❗❕❗
You inspired me a lot in playing the ukelele.Thank you👍

very nice to listen to, thank you very much
Thanks! The uke has a MI-SI pickup
Nicely done Gerald.
Listening to this for the fifth time in a row. You set a high bar Ger. Brilliant.
Thanks for watching kurt!
High is an understatement, Kurt……it’s like clearing a pole vault bar, without using the pole 😮😂😂
Como brasileiro eu gostei muito e te dou meus parabéns...
smooth~ I love it!
Thanks for listening Ben!
the best for me ....
great! I like this
Thanks Julio!
people are getting better by listening to your music
Another great video! Gerald you seem to have a special feel for latin/bossa swing. I think an album of those songs would sell. Maybe stuff like Brazil, Speak Low in addition to Wave, Frenesi, Poinciana etc.
But don't let that get in the way of uploading these wonderful CZcams videos.
nice
It sounds fantastic...does your ukulele have a pickup?
Super great but I sure wish you would put on the other stringed instrument that is playing so we can see it what it's doing
Looks so easy . . .
triangle2U That's what I try for!
Sweet! Going to make UWC this year? Lil' Rev and the Barnkickers are coming.
Very nice Gerald. Better with the uke I think.
What a pleasure Gerald !
May I ask you the strings you use ?
Thanks Eric. I use Worth CT fluorocarbon strings. They are very smooth and allow me easily slide on the fretboard.
+Gerald Ross Thank you very much Gerald, I really like what you do...
Hi Gerald,
is it possible to see a tutorial for this song by any chance? I would love to learn to play!
+Sselintv cast Sorry there is no instruction available for this tune. It is however included on my CD 'Absolute Uke'. Go to my website to order. www.geraldross.com Thanks for listening.
Is that a Talsma and low g?
Your killing me man. Just killing me. I gotta go practice.
I keep coming back to this - it's so clean. May I ask what strings you use for jazz as I am having trouble with squeaking Aquilas - like blackboard chalk for me! - thanks
I use a classical guitar D string for the 4th string, fluorocarbon 1-3.
@@gbross Thanks !
Your slick on that running board Gerald. A fluid elegant sound. Like the D string ring.
I'm there except for the speedos
Makes me want to bust out the martini's, ray bans, speedos, and wading pool. Cool, baby (:
