Paul really knows his stuff. Love his honesty. Always watchable.
Paul top advice always real. I still like the artistic difference’s you have with Drew most of all.Keep championing the cars when manufacturers cared!
We would drive older cars but London's mayor won't let us...
The smart brabus had a bang on the door. It’s had a re spray
I had to pause thus vudeo to make this comment as I'm so impressed with the standard of details that you present in this and every other one of your preview videos. To rbe extent that I'm now thinking about buying a classic car in the future and yours will be the auction that I'm sure I will find that car. Keep up the good work and hope this and future actions are successful. Cheers
What a lovely thing to say. Thank you! I hope we can welcome you at our place soon! ❤
Whoever is getting the Harley already knows 😂😂😂. Someone commented about how honest Paul is 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Listen pal I have a really nice bridge for sale you would love it.
Xr2 without a sunroof that's a reshelled car surely
I had a chopper,my brother took it apart and sprayed it. And never put it back together again.
I had a mini 1275 GT yellow black piping and stickers. Number plate KAP 4W. Also let a VW beetle 1300 rot in a friends garden. If only I knew then what I know now 🥲🥲🥲🥲
on a cursory look the 2cv has questions to be asked. Why are the bumper over riders not fitted, why have the correct side repeaters been replaced by proprietary lights on the quarter panel. Small points perhaps but they point up poor attention to detail. Just had a look at the web photos and the rear 'boot' area has been carpeted. In the past this was quite often to cover up accident damage....unlikely in this case but anyone who knows 2cvs knows that carpet was never fitted and that in our climate it just attracts water.
I believe the answer to your question is that it is because the restoration was done by a keen amateur, not a 2CV specialist workshop, and that it shows. The road test video looked impressive, it does indeed look very attractive and, on paper, with all that work done, would seem a desirable bargain to any potential 2CV purchaser. Yet all that glitters is not gold. With the following VW Beetle being a typical example (some £21k spent), it seems to me that a LOT of money can be lost if spent on the wrong project. Perhaps good for the buyer, (if major work is finished) but certainly not for the seller. Perhaps my loss, it may be all it seems, and I hope it is, but I will pass.
@@EnlightenedPatriot1 I decided to pass also so I agree. I do think however that there seems to be little difference between a keen amateur and a so called 2cv specialist who knowingly takes a short cut. The carpet is a big no-no for me it indicates a lack of knowledge and pre 2000 Citroens are cars that do need to be understood.
Meant to say 1960 Mini!
It does, but didn't want to slam it as it peaks the mic 👍
Why doesn’t the 1969 Mini drivers door close?
French Blue Paul - not baby blue. Tsk tsk - nice car though 20k is strong. 15k might be closer.
Sold my blue mark 1 Chopper for £30😪
Sold my metallic brown Chopper Sprint for £15!
I got a tenner for mine
Skipped my purple coloured one !
In 1977 I was given £60 for passing my 11 plus exams and in the bike shop desparately wanted the special edition Silver Jubilee Chopper - Mag wheels, rear drum brake. Told it was dangerous (it was) and it would be too small for me in less than a year so ended up with a Kalkhoff racer instead.
Shame really as I guess thats the most prized Chopper out there?
