I think the reason as to why they were ‘chosen’ is that either they are outdoors people (hunting, bird watching and gardening) anything that is related to nature. The other thing you can figure out with the bird watcher is to retrace their steps by following his voice recording. He went from point A, then point B, to point C and finally point D.
In the recording, the bird watcher was talking to an individual, not an animal. But was terrified, perhaps this being was the one making the voices on the background.
I love that the company is willing to send these elaborate editions out, but physical editions of the game are out of the question 😂

They already combined them years ago. Controls 2nd DLC is literally 100% Alan wake themed.
