i've got a little 310 case or 320 case backhoe ..its a lot like yours ...the left and right foot controlls are for the stabilizers tho...if you let the clutch out in any gear and going any direction accept downhill ..the front wheels comes up and stays up ..its got a seat in the back for the hoe that is engineered to hit you in the hit if you don't lock it while driving the tractor i think a couple empty steal boxes beside the lift arms filled with cement might help it ..i also have a mf50b ..i think it is a better loader ..still not as good as a 580 case tho
@@atvfanantichehe I have not had the time to do it yet. It looks like it is easiest to pull the radiator and engine to change out the front transmission seal.
Horrible video. You don't have to lower the rpm to shift gears with the clutch in. I have only had my 480 ck for 2 years but I know you are very wrong.
Thank you. Just got one today, learning on the fly
Bro thats beautiful landscape. are you fr? Gorgeous.
Best backhoe back in the day, changed and helped advance the backhoe industry. It was a true work horse
Thank you for the video, I bought one today, 1968 Case 580B Construction King.
[looks, great.👍 I've. got a 1966, case ck. 530 diesel Backhoe.]
Theres a 1967 by me that seems like runs good but has some leakage for 3500, I am so tempted to buy it.
I worked at Case from june69 till dec 1971 . I may have placed my hands on it somewhere . They were the top of the line in its day .goog luck
Excellent! Thank you!
Good introduction for beginners
had a little 430 gas powered case Gannon tractor skip loader, very convenient machine.
I have the 310 B , animals for their age. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Vary little electrical to go bad , that is easy to self fix.
There are 2 different shuttle shifts, one is mechanical the other is hydrolic. When down on oil Hydrolic oil they simply stop moving.

More on construction king. Gas not diesel 1969 530 j I case ck.great details on how to drive and everything
I would if I still had it. Turns out my EX bought it and once the relationship was over , so was my time with it.... Lol.
Question, so say I want to cruise down the road at the 580b top speed do I start in 4th gear at a stand still?
Have you had to change out your front transmission seal yet? Mine leaks out all the transmission fluid over night.
Mine does that too! Did you find a solution?

Can it pull out a stump
I’ve only pulled one so far. But yea.
