  • Dr. Rowe shows how to self fix a short leg at home. These exercises are EASY and EFFECTIVE and don't require any special equipment!
If you're dealing with a short leg, or a high hip, caused by an uneven pelvis -- this video will help self mobilize the joints and soft tissue in and around the pelvic region.
We're going to go over lower back and pelvic stretches and exercises that focus on getting everything moving. This may help RESET the pelvis, and bring the alignment of the hips back into balance.
Also, we'll focus on strengthening the muscles, ligaments, and tendons around the pelvis. This may help build a STRONGER foundation in your lower back, pelvis, and hips and ward off future issues of a high hip and a short leg.
As a bonus, it may help you maintain your ALIGNMENT longer in-between chiropractic adjustments.
WATCH NOW and get rid of a short leg at home!

I'm Autistic and I have been living in terror because the health care system is so messed up. So Im dealing with the mental health aspect that is associated Autism and ADHD as well as physical non-connected ailments. I cant get any treatment for the misalignment of my joints. My Drs are truly very corrupt and bad people. Especially when you have free health care. I see the difference in people that are wealthy and can afford real honest wholistic Drs vs. Drs that just want to drain your free insurance and insure they never heal you so you keep coming back. All they say is there is nothing they can do except lets chop up your body giving you surgery that is not needed to give you more side effects, risk, and put you on pain killers forever. Bless You and this channel for giving me some hope.

@DrRowe greetings. A long time follower from Australia. If you could please advise which side is being targeted when doing the exercise? I know you do say to do both sides to keep things in balance but having the shorter leg itself means there is no balance to start off. I wish you could state when the shorter leg is being worked during each of these wonderful exercises. Thank you, Dan, Melbourne

These were awesome. I just had a revision of my partial knee to a total and it changed 3-5 mm. However, my doctor says since it was all of a sudden my body feels like it’s an inch all at once and I shouldn’t notice a difference, but my body is compensating and then I’m trying to compensate by leaning to the longer or shorter side and it’s hurting my back and making me feel like I have this huge discrepancy between my legs. Will this help it? Are there any otherreasons why I feel like it’s a bigger discrepancy than what it really is? If so, is there any thing else you would suggest on top of these?

Is it a good idea to do the exercises on both sides right from the beginning? Is it not preferable to first do them on the side needed to correct the short leg, and then later on both sides to maintain balance? Thank you in advance.

Does a short leg cause severe knee pain? I have recently been diagnosed with this short leg.... When they started to treat this st physical therapy the knee pain is almost gone but Dr still wants to replace knees. I don't know if one had to do with the other.

Hello Doctor. My 6-year old son feels very tired every time we walk and sits down in the square every time we stop. The doctor noticed that my son had 1 leg 1 cm shorter than the other and pelvic isn't on level, and flatfoot and he advised us to put plantar... do you think this affects my son's tired, and should I apply these exercises that you have shown, or should I leave only platar ? Please give me an advice because my son can not eplain my why he is so tired or if he has pain...
    Thank you !

Does anyone else have on top of having a high hip also have the foot on that same side tilting outwards a lot? Not both feet, just that one? 45 degrees outwards! The broomstick exercise seems very good for me but all the others I fail at because I can't balance my leg with that foot. If I straighten that foot on the yoga block for example my knee caves in extremely.
I can't do the Wall Push either. The high hip and foot pointing outwards is on my right side. So with this exercise I can't seem to train the glute on that side, I am just using the left glute instead.
SpineCare if you are reading this, do you have any advice for me? Or perhaps can make a future video for people with a high hip while also having the foot underneath that hip pointing outwards? It prevents me from solving the issue! For now I will do the broomstick one daily.

One day I suddenly realized that one of me leg is a bit short and I never knew that there is any such thing called short leg problem and luckily I found this video and I tried it and thank God I not only could correct the problem but later realized that I could now kneel down properly with my lower back straight which I could never do as earlier whenever I knelt down to pray I always used to automatically bend and take the support if the bench or a table. So thankyou Doctor thank you so much 🙏🙏

Can engaging in walking (ie two miles a day) with one leg shorter than the other due, to uneven hip, make things worse or better? I'm trying to do the exercises but trying to walk as well to lose weight but am worried walking could making things worse.

Good day, I was injected wrongly when I was 4 years old and affect my right leg, my left leg is longer than my right leg and which is making me embarrassed, I can't walk normal because of the short leg, it will be great if you can tell me what to do, I don't mind undergoing surgery to make the two legs equal😥

My left hip is high. And I’m like a half inch taller on my left leg. Does this mean I have a structural lld? Right hip and shoulder or lower. And right foot is more flat then left.

Yep mine is a structural difference in femur length, but I wish someone would do some videos on the problems this causes and what stretches and massage to do to alleviate pain and tightness.

If there is an anatomical difference, I would think that having orthopedic tools, like a prescribed, permanent lift ? for shoes, would be helpful. (Not the off-the store rack things). As to massage - unless the massage therapist is poorly trained, (and/or thinks you must have pain in order for massage to be "working" - and that would be wrong), everyone should be be able to receive massage therapy, and have it covered by their insurance.
