Also, C3 is killer still.. using Valk to cut down their cards, and using location control with Quake and Scarlet Witch have been working really well this past week.

I used a similar typhoid mary deck to hit infinite last season, but I ran blob, destroyer and viper instead of hood, lizard and luke cage. Never see it on ladder so it’s cool to see somebody else plays it
The Thor tech deck looks like a lot of fun, I'll be trying that bad boi out

Do you think there's any meaningful difference between decks performing good on the ladder and in conquest ? Is there any archetype we should prioritize depending on what game mode we are playing ?
No. The main difference in Conquest is the delta between good decks and bad ones is bigger.
Same top decks, same bottom decks, just more room in that difference because Conquest is lower variance.
Do you think the Pixie Bast bounce is better than the version posted in this video. Just wondering if you think one is a better deck or if they are just both interesting flavors on the archetype?
I am not familiar with a pixie bounce deck.
I remember when sera control being in top was sign of meta healing
Ive actually been playing a lot of the skar atuma deck since you last posted it. Nobody really expects it and armor and cosmo really mess with a lot of the greed going on now
I'm sad because my thanos lock jaw hela destroy deck got obliterated by the past few nerfs... But a better way of phrasing that is my garbage piles can no longer be carried by busted cards

that loki deck is great but most people are really bad at playing loki 😂 i’m still improving at whether or not i play loki down in a match
In the first typhoid deck I don't understand Attuma over cull.
Yeah, I tried that Loki deck after seeing it on another content creator's list as the "best" deck, and proceeded to hemorrhage cubes. Every deck seemed to have the answer against Loki. Gonna have to go back to Thanos or maybe that Thor deck which looks interesting to try to complete my climb to infinite.
have been playing everyday since the day the game came out, and i'm missing 1-2 cards in every of these decks :D
for the record, i love your videos - i'm just somewhat pissed i can't play any of the «most played», «most fun» or «most competitive» decks, as a free to play player
(I'm missing Skaar from deck 1, Elsa from deck 2, Beta Ray from deck 3, Cannonball and Mockingbird from deck 4, Blob from deck 5, X-23 from deck 6, Phenix Force from deck 7, Proxima from deck 8, Hope & Loki from deck 9)

I used to love that Kitty Loki deck, but I tried it recently and it just can't keep up with the top meta decks. Thanos and Discard both go too tall in multiple lanes.
Me whenever playing any deck I have the most fun with. My fun decks are like never really too huge on meta and main way for them to compete is basically throw in 3 or more tech cards lol
That deck is literally my best winrate/cube rate deck atm. But yeah, i’m currently not facing any discard or thanos at mid infinite.

I wish Jeff followed up with his best potential decks. Like did any of these decks ever live up to their potential?? We never know…

Sooooo... In conclusion: nerf Loki? LOL (I'm kidding, of course). Thanos being on top is nothing new, but at least other things can try to compete now. I really hope SD just redesign Alioth in the next patch; it is a big reason why Thanos is so good (in addition to just being a terrible design).
I HATE destroy as an archetype. Not only can it scale incredibly easily, but it has a lot of low-cost cards that can get huge very easily (carnage, venom), and it benefits from destroying its own and YOUR cards. Running Armor and Cosmo is fine in theory but your rarely drawn them both on curve and a lot of the time you draw them when your opponent has already destroyed a bunch of cards.
70% of my games are turn 2 Hulk buster. Turn 3 venom cause the cards you need, you get them late.
You are very dependant of what happen in the first 3 turns.
And locations fuck you up 30% of the time.
Yeah, I’m just so sick of seeing destroy decks. It’s about every other game or so. And yeah, I bring armor or Cosmo but I don’t draw them or they play around them for a turn 6 Knull win.

Turn 5 Venom is a way better play imo.
You threaten to Zola a huge Venom, while also threatening Alioth/Knull/Death/maybe a fat DP too. Like.. you probably don’t have all of it, but your opponent has to respect that any of it can happen.
Destroy is also low equity though.
It needs a busted start, and if you see they have that start you can retreat for 1-2 cubes early.
I played a lot of destroy this season and with aggressive snapping I've rarely gotten more than 2 cubes unless someone thinks they can get me with a shang chi on a turn where I zola
I do like me some Man-Thing on a Venom lane. I just witnessed a beautiful 1 power venom as it ate a 0 X23 0 Deadpool 0 Wolverine.
