This is the END for the Warriors...

- The 2024 NBA Playoffs began with a bang on Tuesday with the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the New Orleans Pelicans to decide who would face the Denver Nuggets while the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings battled to keep their season alive. The Pelicans vs Lakers game was great with Zion Williamson dominating, but the Warriors vs Kings game was a massive blowout in favor of Sacramento. With this loss not only is the Warriors' season over, but it feels like the dynasty has come to a screeching halt as well. Klay Thompson is a free agent, Draymond Green is aging, and Steph Curry is seemingly regressing and needs more help if he wants to compete for a ring. It's a mess over in Golden State and, seemingly, it's the beginning of the end of their dominance. Let's talk about it.

LMAO KLAY 0-10, 0 points, in 32 minutes.
I just feel bad for him now 💀🥲
I swear Steve Kerr plays him out of sympathy

The dynasty was already over last year, the fact they managed to get one more chip after KD was already amazing, nothing lasts forever in the nba
The fact they got a chip before KD was amazing. They prove they win before and after KD. KD was amazing too in his time there.

Klay 0/10 in a must win game and Kerr talm bout we desperately need him back like it’s not time to blow this sh*t the f*ck up this off season it’s so over
He’s a coach. He’s not going to say “yeah we have real issues surrounding Klay” to media members. Saying it in public does nothing for GSW. He wants Klay to have some trade value
It will be interesting to see if Joe Lacob lets Steph and Kerr talk him into paying for what amounts to a Warriors Tribute Band.
As long as it's not the end of ThreeCone I'll be fine

They need to get rid of klay, going 0-10 in their most important game of the season is unacceptable
These are the kind of games Jordan Poole would’ve WENT OFF. Gsw needed scoring other than curry and they just don’t have it .
The consequence of having draymond green on your team
THEY GAVE KUMIGA AND MOODYS MINUTES TO KLAY
Ngl I hated the warriors in their peak because of how dominant they were but this game made me feel so bad for them. Especially for Klay. Like damn….. the mighty have fallen so hard now
Its always gonna happen tho no one stays dominant forever time always catches up with us but we gotta make the most of the time we have.
Nah, I would have to get past the image of drilling Steven Adams in the nuts, TWICE, to ever feel bad for the Warriors and that ain't never happening. 😮
It probably wouldn't have mattered, but GS should've given Podziemski more minutes than Klay. Pod's +/- was higher and he was hustling on both ends. Only 2/3 shooting but 8 rebounds and a lot of diving for loose balls.
Klay should’ve been permanently benched months ago and shifted to 8th-9th man role because even when he is hot his defense is atrocious now and he is not hot very often. Podz, Kuminga and Moody all should’ve been playing over him the entire time
@@bkelly625 Kerr has shown far too much loyalty to guys who can no longer help the team win
That Klay Thompson performance...
Legendary 😂😂😂😂😂
New Warriors big 3 gonna be Steph, LeBron, and Bronny 💀
Warriors G-League affiliate is gonna get a boost from Bronny's 5.3/3.3/2.5 average
Bro Klay is legit horrible. That dude was missing WIDE OPEN shots. His footwork also looks horrible. I think dude is chilling and fucking around way too much.
I was legit embarrassed for him. No idea why Kerr left him in the game
Because Kerr's coaching strategy is just "Let Steph & Klay cook & have Draymond goon it up" Outside of spamming that, he's got nothing to counter the reality of the rest of the league being able to move the ball and shoot the 3 at least as well as his team does
Kings fan here - can’t believe last night went down like that. Great game from my boy Keon Ellis

The Warriors dynasty is over, but IF they make the right moves (whatever that may be, hopefully they at least have an idea 😅), they can still do something special next year(s) as long as Chef Curry is leading them. 🙏🙏
Nah, that’s OK - thanks anyway … 😉😄
What right moves they have no assets and no money.

they need to blow it up now there is quite literally no move they can make and still be an actual contender without putting the franchise in serious trouble for the long run this is the last season where draymond klay and steph will have serious value klays and draymonds are already plummeting as we speak

It's not fair to Podz, Kuminga & Moody for Kerr to keep doing this.
Those guys have earned larger roles, but they have continued to have their development stunted becuase Kerr can't get out of his emotions.
And they fking traded jordan Poole after one season of low performance
Celebrating the demise of a team is weird and toxic to me. Just cheer for who you want to win.

If I were in a high school lit class, I would say this picture shows their relationship without words. Draymond, comfortable as the third fiddle, locked in and focused on being who he is and doing his part in the big 3. Klay, on a literal throne, feeling higher and more valuable than he is. And Curry, will sit there for the photo for the good of the team chemistry, doesn’t want to rustle feathers, but honestly wouldn’t mind playing ball with literally anyone.
It's been crazy to witness a HOFer's career burn out alongside a dynasty crumbling, but nothing lasts forever. LET'S GO MAVS
Both draymond and Kerr says they want klay back because they are planning a vacation next mid April
I feel bad for Klay. To have this hard of a fall after years of glory can mess you up in the head. I never thought Klay's last game with GS would be a 0-point game and being shipped off. Never thought he'd leave this team in such a terrible state. But busines is business.
A bittersweet moment indeed.
That would suck if that was his last warriors game
It feels like the cold, rational thing to do would be to blow it up, get lots of assets back in exchange for Steph, let CP3 and Klay walk, and rebuild.
They may not have the heart/guts to do it, though
The shade kerr threw on okc was irrelevant. Justice was served.
so the play in is part of the playoff or part of the regular season?
It is romantic to think about a player, or multiple players, staying with one franchise forever, but it is a business. Steph has a lot of trade value at 36 and it would be much easier to accelerate a rebuild than it would be to build a contender around him in the next two seasons or however long he will still produce.
Facts
Steph can't be in top 10 if he cant dominate win takes all game
I kinda feel bad for him. He's 34 yrs old and has been ravaged by injuries...going out sad.
Like Chef Curry said, I know have to think about if I want to watch the playoffs or not. 😢😪
Smokin on the Warriors pack TONIGHT
WOOOOOO THE BEAM IS LIT BABY
Smoking on that warriors pack ☁️
Tony Snell would be proud of Klay
Maaaaan, f the warriors. Lost too many bets on thinking theyd pick it up at some point lol
klay was out there having a diggs moment
The big three are all clinging to past glory.
Klaymond Greenson has to go.
A rebuild may be the best option for the Warriors at this point. Even if they do make some huge changes, Idk if those changes are gonna launch them back into title contention.
Don’t think the dynasty is complete over unless the owner decides to. They have enough pieces to make moves, or they can start rebuilding right away. They can also do a legend service like Lakers and Mavericks of riding with the OG’s until they retire or they can pull a San Antonio spurs and continue to develop youth and make the right moves to take away the pressure from the vets who have shown they don’t got enough juice for 82 games and post season.
The dynasty is over with the amount of time they’ve wasted and horrible moves they’ve made there is quite literally no trades they can make that will give them any good chance to contend without completely ruining their chances at rebuilding healthily
The #1 thing that the warriors need to do is fire Steve Kerr, you can not tell me that Moses Moody comes into the game for 15 minutes scores 16 points on like 70% TS, is the best and most inspired Warrior of the entire game and it wasnt even close to be honest and then he gets benched for the rest of the game for Klay Thompson going 0/10. For the players Klay doesnt have any trade value, he should honestly retire the warriors should not extend him and Im not sure any other team will, Draymond is still good despite popular belief, Wiggins needs to go, and I would say maybe you should look for trading Kuminga and Looney for a star player that becones available.
They extend Kerr some weeks ago
Warriors are now 0-2 when trying to get in the playoffs as a play-in
What are your thoughts about Donte DiVincenzo being ineligible for Most Improved Player?
It’s dumb just like no Hartenstein for All-Defense… They played plenty enough to earn recognition. Funny though that the Warriors would’ve been way better off if they still had Donte and played him over Klay lol
Klay shot them into a dynasty, only fitting he shot them out of it too
Klay should just accept a smaller contract to help the Warriors. He has earned his spot to end his career with them if he wants to. Play fewer minutes off the bench/6th man and let the younger guys develop even further
warriors revolutionized the way basketball was played back in 2015, now other teams just caught up to them and are doing it better , while warriors got old and can't stay at the level they were before. a fitting end to a dynasty
Wow, really tough question. Where do the Warriors go from here?
First, they have to look at the problem objectively. I know that may come off as a cop out, but it's really not.
Curry is 36, but there is still some tread left, fact.
BUT, is there enough tread to weather a rebuild? Probably not.
A bandaid fix might slow the bleeding, but it won't heal the patient. Seth's Tonto went 0 for 10 last night, it is what it is. Draymond is Draymond and just like Old Faithful, count on it, he's gonna blow up again. At this point the juice is no longer worth the squeeze. And the list goes on.
So there are some really tough decisions that need to happen relatively quickly.
I do feel that they do owe Curry the right to decide what he wants to do once those decisions are made.
Podz Wiggins and Chris Paul for BI and McCollum ?
The Dubs dynasty has been over for some time. This game was an exclamation point. Age has caught up with them. Steph is in decline. They’re done. They need to move on and blow it up.
The Warriors holding on to Klay and Draymond is embarrassing and Steph could still have a chance without these two deadweights
Dray aint even that bad when hes not choking people 😂 watch some ball
The warriors dynasty is over its done they cannot contend they have no assets or cap space even if they get rid of Klay and CP3 they still have Wiggins contract strong holding there cap. They are not gonna sign PG13 and turn into a contender not gonna happen. Steph should just stay on a rebuilding team like Kobe did the last few years of his career.
The lakers have owned okc this year…fym “the lakers wouldn’t wanna do that”
Curry to heat would be insane
insanely disrespectful to say stars didn’t show up from the warriors side of things. the kings played hard and flat out better then the warriors but nobody wants to give them their flowers. we seen that story before though. i think with zion out now that the kings have their best shot to make it in despite the struggles against the pels this season.
the only solution i see is to trade away everyone (steph, klay, dray, wiggins, cp3), for picks and young players and start a rebuild.
there's no way they can build a contender with the half-assed two timeline strategy. if they want to go all in on the old guys, then trade away all the young guys for experienced players, but i don't think the old guys have what it takes to win anymore.
the worst thing would be to continue the "two timeline" strategy
Vet min for Klay and he stays in GS
I actually scored more than Klay watching this video.
I expect Klay to take an Overly reduce contract just to stay in the Warriors. Either that or he will retire.
Last time they lost in the playin and everyone said it's over they won it all the next year
It's not like it's Klay's fault. They lost by 24 so even if he was 10/10 for 20 points this would still have been a loss
10/10 would've been 26, as he shot 6 threes
Much like Blake, CP3 needs to retire. Im super excited that the GS dynasty is over but felt bad for Klay. Then my wife reminded me that these are multimillionaires, they'll be fine. Might be time for Klay to take much, much less to just stay in GS. Maybe even a vet minimum.
Klay getting significant money? I think max max is 20 a year he’s somewhere closer to 10-15
Good
you gotta feel for klay because somewhere he has to still have it righ ?
Shame, now the warriors will never fill the infinity gauntlet
The only one on this team I feel bad for is Chris Paul
I still think the warriors have a chance tbh. they closed out the season really well and if draymond isnt suspended we not even in the play in right now. the actually won more games this year than last year. i think klay takes a pay cut they get off the cp3 contract and package wiggins with kuminga and they find something to do. ill never lose hope long as curry is there but they are asking him to do way too much and its reflective on his stats.
Klay “Mickey Mouse” Thompson
LIGHT THE BEAM
Klay has one of the worst attitudes in the league. Refuses to accept or hear anything to do with him falling off and now he goes 0-10. He’s done bro.
Klay top 4 Sg all time
No he is not
Will the GSW fanboys finally admit Klay is cooked af? Everybody else knew it but the copium was real lol.
Not cooked because he still averaged 17,9 in 77 games which is not nothing. But overpaid, yes. Not worth 43 millions, not even half that probably. A fair pay would be in the 13-18 range
If curry was smart he’d team up with wemby
Lebron was asked to carry the lakers at 36. Lol yall won’t talk abt that tho
I scored as much as klay last night
Sucks so much we got Denver in the 1st 😭😭 was begging to get OKC
Blowout either way
@@47dynasty28 Lakers are 3-0 against OKC this season if am not wrong they seem to have there number.
@@47dynasty28 If you think a team with Lebron Jamesand Anthony Davis will be getting blown out in the playoffs, are we watching the same HOF players?
This should be an easy sweep for the Nuggets.
I think the Warriors should look at this and see there’s only two real options.
Option A)
Throw in the towel and trade Steph. He’s done a lot for the franchise but if they’re not serious about winning another title and want to rebuild, move him. Personally, I’d want to see him traded to the Lakers. Get a 3rd team involved to absorb Lakers’ outgoing contracts and to get another pick or 2 for the Warriors alongside the Lakers’ 3 first round picks. Then we can finally see what the two greatest players of the generation can do beside each other. LeBron, Steph, and AD would be absolutely insane and I think it’d be the perfect end to their contending careers to win a 5th chip together.
Option B)
Commit to winning another title with Steph. If Klay won’t come back for less than $15 million, it’s time to see him walk sadly. With the money saved from Chris Paul and Klay either pay cut or empty slot, make a big splash in free agency. Kevon Looney and GP2 are likely also going to be free agents, saving over $15 million (although I think bringing back GP2 would be ideal). Bring in a genuine second option. Personally, I think the best two possibilities are Paul George or Pascal Siakam. Pick up some solid role players, guys like Tobias Harris, Buddy Hield, Royce O’Neale, etc. Get a real big man. Wether that’s a free agent like Nic Claxton, Isaiah Hartenstein, or Jonas Valanciunas, or if that’s by trading for someone like Rudy Gobert, Clint Capella, or Jakob Poeltl. The Warriors own 5 first round picks, 4 second round picks, and have young talent in Kuminga, Podziemski, and Moody. There’s also the potentially moveable Wiggins and Draymond contracts. You can definitely get a decent big for less than all of that if they don’t get a free agent. They could also flip some of their assets for a second/third option to go with Steph (and PG/Siakam). It’ll be difficult but it’s very much possible for the Warriors to completely retool around Steph and build a genuine title contender.
Option A sounds stupid we don't need no more super teams
Steph will retire as a warrior even if the Warriors go into a rebuild he will stick around until retirement. Golden state literally see Steph the same way the Bulls see Mj.
@@tredeep333the “super team” with an out of prime lebron and steph 😭 to be a superteam you have to be actually SUPER you can’t just have some big name players and then say they’re one
Degree in yapology
@@emilfrederiksen.1622 But sir... MJ didn't retire a Bull... That being said, I highly doubt they go option a. I also don't think they'll fully commit to option b either sadly. They'll probably keep Klay for close to 20 million per season. I think they might try to bring in a real second option and call it at that. Realistically, I think that'd look like them going after KAT or PG.
The nuggets about to have a bunch of new fans 😂
Dude, it’s over that’s it. The dynasty is done and I for one and celebrating. I can’t stand Draymond Green. He’s a cancer to the NBA.
Klay has to go, too often he doesn’t show up and his ego has gotten bigger as his performances have gotten worse.
That team is done and I think curry retires elsewhere.
When it comes to Zion (when healthy) he lives up the they hype he had, he’s unstoppable when driving to the rim, he was a monster in Boston until he was gassed come the 4th quarter.
Zions issue is his durability and his conditioning, he has lost weight and seems to be more committed to his body but it’s now or never because he’s gonna be 24 next season and although that’s still young he needs to get his body right for when he hits his prime.
Some injuries can’t be controlled but some can and most of his seem to come down to his weight and conditioning.
I hope he can get right because when he’s locked in he’s a different calibre
Warriors can definitely win another chip with Steph. Not a doubt in my mind about that one. It’s just that…they’ll need to take an axe to the entire rest of the team including the coaching staff for them to have a chance. Steve Kerr is a legend but watching Moody get something like 16 points in 15 minutes and not understanding he was getting hot while leaving the ghost of Klay out there is just terrible coaching instincts.
No, they can’t. Steph is in decline. Kerr is vastly overrated. They’re done.
If the clippers lose in the first round. Pg is going to the warriors. Klay will end up on the rockets or philly. Maybe GS if he signs a cheap deal.
They want bron to win that 5th chip before Steph. Everyone sees what is going on. The Association and the refs saw to that!
Gsw just need to draft bronny and lebron and steph get another chip
Achilles injury ruined Klay. Nowhere near the same player.
Funny enough, if he went to a team that put him in a 3D, spot up shooter role with little play making responsibilities, i think we'd see him return to being one of the deadliest shooters in the game.
Trade Steph before he regresses even more next year. Make a splash with picks and lean into the rebuild. They've historically drafted well (lol for the most part)...
KEEPING KLAY IS A DISSERVICE TO STEPH, IRONICALLY. IT'S LIKE WASTING STEPH'S LAST GOOD YEARS BY HANDICAPPING YOUR TEAM WITH KLAY'S HUGE CONTRACT. 🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂
Klay gotta go and draymond but maybe draymond can still be a factor for the team but the dude always misses games because he can’t control his anger and his emotions and obviously the warriors need him but I’ve said it before they should have traded klay and draymond but nope they didn’t they didn’t do anything in the trade deadline and curry was alright this game but I’m still confused why the warriors wanted cp3 a 38 year old and traded poole which he’s younger he’s gonna develop I thought he was going to stay with the team for a couple of years !! The roster just looked small they had no defense looney is eh warriors gotta do a lot of big things in the offseason 😬😬which is trading klay or whoever because the roster is old yes they have a few young players but cmon they aren’t experienced yet !!
been praying on their downfall for a bit so this news makes me very happy Mr Cone
All this talk about the Lakers possibly trying to throw the game
Why was there no talk about the Pels doing the same?
In the game I watched it looked like that maybe was happening

🤔
Because Sacramento is going to boat race the Pels.
