I've never read the 'running vault action' in 2.5k hrs loool i have the bad habit of spamming spacebar wayy before im close to the window that shit cucks me sometimes when the killer mindgames

Yes, the running vault text was releases near when Freddy was buffed I believe, I just know that for majority of this game the running vault text hadn't existed

The cool thing about doing controls instead of camera is that if you master it. You can keep eyes on the killer the whole time to check for mind games. Not that I have done that, but in theory it should be the better method.

@@Cru5hh Upon further thought, having your head forward also has the perk of making it look like you are committing to the vault. So ideally you would understand both methods perfectly.
The worse part is that this can't be done on a controller. And BHVR refuses to allow control remapping from joystick to D-pad.
These are some good tips dude. You wouldn't believe how many times I run toward the window and it gives me a slow vault. Definitely going to practice these techniques
Pretty sure you can be as close to the window as you want and you'll still get a fast vault, the reason why it switches back to saying "VAULT" is because you collided with the window, which cancels the running animation. You can press space very late on any window and still get a fast vault, not just on the dump truck
I always like to find fast vaults, and this is the problem i had; vaulting too early. you have such a nice perspective on these things
For anyone who doesn't know, you can also apply the same technique to short wall jungle gyms in order to vault into the jungle gym. Helps a lot!

Thank you for this. I asked a few people why i take longer than usual to vault. They didn't tell me anything like this.
two most important things here: if youre trying to get a hard fast vault, hold W and only use your mouse to turn and click spacebar a few miliseconds later than you would normally hit it. fr, my biggest problem was hittting spacebar too early so i just started doing it later than my gut told me to

Yo cru5h, thanks for the Video. I might have another suggestion for you. I saw already all of your how2loop Videos, which all had been great but i struggle to connect all these Tiles to form a runnable and a long loop. So like u explained in this Video at 9:20. Its just experience and knowledge i know that, its all about this map structures and how they are connected to each other. Also sometimes its hard to know which unsafe spots u can get out a loop sometimes, and sometimes u are not. For example accidentaly running in MacMillan not to a JungleGym, just in a Area without any Windows or at Autohaven in a massive Deadzone. (Near the stacked Cars) and in the Middle of the Map u can run around those trashcans for a little bit or Hayballs at Coldwind. So would be interesting if u can teach more of those connected Areas and things how to know, that a Window there is always in the oppsite direction of the Pallet. If that makes sense? :) thanks!
I actually like using the methods combined to hit the fast vault it just comes naturally

Dude i love you so much. i play on console and i just deduced 4 lanes and Dump truck fast vaults to being a PC only thing. i knew how to get fast vaults on everything else, just not 4 lanes and Dump truck. i only got it on 4 lanes once and thought it glitched it or something. i didn’t know you had to wait till almost the last milisec. i’ve looked so many times for tutorials for this and could never find anything, you literally teach everything. ever need a sweaty 4th add my account on i reptic i

Run as much as you can into the window, until right before the point you would get a medium vault. Just practice it, get the feel of how long u can kiss the window before you are forced to medium. From my experience, the time you are able to "kiss the window" is 200 milliseconds and still get a fast vault..
Just subscribed, also I’m very new to playing DBD on PC, I’ve played on Xbox for over a year. Is there a way you could make a tutorial on how to hug pallet loops really tight? I seem to struggle with that on M&K. It seems like I loop it wide even though I’m trying not too. Great content BTW!

Would you recommend rebinding run to Right Click to ease the stress on your left hand. I find that right click as survivor doesnt really do much and dropping that second finger on your mouse doesnt really impact gameplay. Also it seems like it could be really comfortable sidestepping into windows and not having your hand be a literal cramp show.

The specific angle tolerance you can hit the window and still get a fast vault is 17 degrees. Just for those who like a specific angle to aim for
I do different method, fast vaulting while looking behind all the time, really hard, but you know what the killer is doing.
I literally do the third method to getting in to the fast vault position because it just feels smooth

There’s a window on rancid abbatoir outside of main that is very easy to get a fast vault on the inside but it is pretty hard one of the hardest fast vaults in the game but it’s possible to get it on the outside. Try it out it’s pretty satisfying to get.
In my oppinion the hardest fast vault is on I think it’s called rancid abbitoir (coldwind Main Building with 3 windows + always gen inside)
Doing the angle and timing from outside is just so hard

Rancid Abattoir fast from the outside to the inside of hallway with the hanging pigs room is the hardest for me personally. 1 in 10 tries :(

do the long 4 walls in father campbells it’s actually possible to fast vault and it’s smaller than dump truck.

In the beginning you should go over best perks to use for what you are trying. So for fast vaults the following perks:
Resilience
Spine Chill
Iron Will
Dead Hard
I've seen some players use Adrenaline or Sprint Burst. Which perks do you prefer?
Can you show your settings that make your game look so smooth and clear? Pls, bcs my eyes hurt after playing dbd even with nvidia filters
Hey Corey, i came back to this video to refresh my vaults, something I recently started trying was doing a fast vault outside of the harvester window found in the Coldwind maps. Is it possible to (sounds odd) make a new video going over other window fast vaults?
Yes, looping the harvester backwards! I have recently been working on that. Its so satisfying to hit.
It is possible to do a fast vault at a slightly diagonal angle as well 😃

i don’t hit saloon like any way u showed. i run straight up the stairs and just move left and hit the window on the right corner. i always fast vault it like that so just got used to it. i don’t move my camera angle or anything

How do you start a custom game without a killer? I can't practice these vaults since I can't start a game alone.
I have a killer. Use a friend, go to the dbd server, or in my case. Use your old ps4 to afk your own game.
This is so hard on console because you can't really change directions using the sticks very fast and at a perfect 90 degree angle but the joysticks are actually sooooo much better in loops around pallets
I'm Xbox player and for me, abusing fast vault is easy imo, I have problem only with one tile, short wall jungle gym on autohaven and 4 wall on asylum

Window tech* and no its not patched you need to be running into the killer as his second foot is about to touch the ground. To early you run into him to late same thing. Go into a KYF and try it a few times you'll get it down.
6:37 on this one you flick your mouse too quickly, so either lower ur dpi's or just look down/turn your camera a little bit slower that should help you, cheers!
Dump truck was reworked to be wider. Its free every time now.

I feel like some vaults are just better to medium vault other than fast vault.
anybody have this problem in ps4: when you try to do a circle running the character doesnt do that and basicly you cant do 360 and the game is so laggy so you cant get fast vaults (sorry for my grammar xD)
was this happening recently because i am on PC and when i try to moonwalk it rubberbands me back and i think its the same problem

There is a killer in there. I used to use a friend now i use an old console on crossplay.

Dude I have tried, and tried and tried to do a fast vault but I JUST. CANT. DO IT. I have tried to time it, run at it from like 10 meters, and everything and it’s just not happening.
Usually the biggest struggle is pressing Spacebar (or whatever vault is on console) too early.
Try pressing spacebar sooo late that you think youre running into the window, literally hitting it with your face, then pressing vault key.

Actually not completely accurate. The running vault que doe not have to prompt in order to get a fast vault. You can actually hit space a few steps before you even get the prompt or to the window and it will automatically fast vault for you if you time it correctly , about 3 steps before the prompt appears
