I did this to keep the video shorter while still being able to include the basic ways to loop. The fact is, most killers have different ways to mind game and explaining every killer in one video would span hours. I'll consider making a "How to loop/counter x killer" video for each killer. We'll see how this type of video goes.
Also I get progressively more and more sleepy as the video goes on.. haha. It took awhile to edit and it's something I need to continue to work on.

I’m a rank 2 and I can loop the killer sometimes for 3 gens in some games, and then in others I’m literally the first person down because I suddenly go brain dead. This video is actually very helpful cause I forget how to loop with certain areas and this definitely refreshes my memory. The tip about tight looping is definitely helpful cause I’m idiot and would do loose looping oof. Really good video though, you explained everything clearly and I could understand it. Definitely earned a sub

Antigone I can loop the killer for 5 gens but for my random teammates one gen takes 5 minutes because they are pus$ies and bots.
Well, as a red rank killer I can tell... Red rank killers won't fall in infinites, you are not worthy, it's a waste of time.
Maybe it work for 7-20, but in red ranks, you need be lucky.

@@sleepingissues6226 a lot of spots can work as an infinite. Maybe you won't stay there forever, but with the actual gen rushing, you can't keep on a 2 min chase. Example: small building with 2 doors and a window.
Killers tryna mind-game at jungle gyms thinking you’re bouta loop when you actually ran away from that jungle gym and keeps searching and loses you: 👁👄👁

The Scratch Marks perk can make your marks fade 3 seconds faster. It’s OP and you can do stuff like you mentioned way easier

@@subscider Definitely. I went from not knowing how to loop but trying to buy time to kinda knowing how to loop and actually buying time for the team. It takes practice to eventually get really good but this is a great way to learn how to get there.

Merpenguin looping wasn’t intended to be a feature, neither were 360’s the community made them themselves

Considering the alerts are literally placed in a strategic way instead of just being in the open with a small wall.
Also the dev's say looping alot I in their interviews and patch notes.
360s on the other hand yeah not a thing but is really cool when pulled.

If looping vids in this detail were around ages ago, I wouldnt have so many survivor main friends who loop like trash with over 3k hours always wanting killers nerfed because they can't get good. That zooming in and following the 2D guide there was amazing for understanding the flow of the loop, very nicely done!!
This is really helpful and a follow-up video for other loops (and main loops once the optimal paths are figured out) would be hugely appreciated.
I have an idea for helping those who struggle with visualizing the connection between the map and the example gameplay. Having a mini map in the top corner that shows the paths (transparent, survivor/killer according to example), you (arrow or dot), and the killer (and perhaps their red stain to show where they're looking). The red stain would be easy to do if you get their footage. Of course, this adds a ton of editing work on top of what you already have, but I think it'd make these videos the most comprehensive guide to looping.
Either way, a whole mini series that covers most if not all of the loops would be fantastic. One vid for main (which can then be broken down into separate videos for Coldwind, Autohaven, etc.), One vid for killer-specific loops (potential for Huntress, Deathslinger, Demo), even a vid for loop synergies (shack+lanes, etc). These are just some ideas. I really hope these videos go viral in the dbd community as that'll really help with those who don't understand the nuances of looping (killers and survivors). Someone can just point them here when they need advice.

Was watching this in between games with my friend and was able to run the crane perfectly because of this. Thank you so much this has been what I needed as a survivor player
By the way, i'm not sure how many people know but you can actually fast vault the dump truck. I wish i could explain how to do it but i've only done it very few times.
To fast vault nearly anywhere tight. You hug the wall across from the vault without rubbing up against it. Its also important not to yoink your camera around like i did. I rushed that truck clip or I wouldve re-done it with fast vaults.

im in red ranks (surv) and for me the chases are 50/50: i have a good long chase or a really short one. this video helped me on some stuff i can improve on and even the 'dump truck' loop that i didn't use. im sure you will channel will explode soon with such amazing tips and gameplay. thank you i hope you'll make more video's on both sides
