Until recently most musical instruments have been tuned so that the “A” note (of the middle octave on a piano) is tuned to 440 Hz cycles per second; this is known as Concert Pitch. Concert Pitch was established as the musical standard at the beginning of the 20th century but prior to that instruments were tuned to 432 Hz cycles per second. In honor of earlier musical traditions we've created the EarthTone Flutes series that utilizes the 432 Hz tuning frequency for the “A” note, with all the other musical notes aligned accordingly.

It was because it has a blowdart in the chamber or your dogs narcoleptic. Then again it was 20 seconds of playing so maybe he is just lazy, get a job dog!
Just got this flute and I absolutely loved it. I bought another so called beginners flute from someone else and it was hard to play. This one is so easy to play and feels so natural in your hands. Also it is beautiful. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend it and well worth the price.

Hey!!!!! Very interesting! I used to buy your flutes wholesale to sell in my store and at shows. I have a bunch of them that I love. My favorite is a black raven F#. I perform as a jazz vocalist but I want to get back to playing flute. I was married to my guitar player for 35 years and we jammed with flute and guitar every day. I lost him in 2013 and have since been in bands. We "practice " but we don't just sit around and play so I'm trying to find a way back. Haha, I used to be good, I could improvise!

When you are sensitive to sounds, 432 makes a very big difference in the way you feel. It just makes you feel better. I make Playlists based on that. When I'm feeling down, or just off, I have that list with a few different genres. A lot of people might not notice a difference, but for some reason I'm sensitive to light, sounds, smells, taste, and touch. So I'm on edge a lot. I don't know why, I just know what is.

How can you measure what frequency you are creating when building the flute , i have watched and love your videos ❤️ thank you so much for your knowledge and powerful tips and tricks
This comes from years of experience in flute crafting, and making notes for specifications that produce 440Hz or 432Hz. Each flute goes through testing and adjustments for tuning accuracy, as well.

You’re probably right, they purposely started tuning things to 440 and switched from 432 to fuck everybody
