Freaked me out with that first bandsaw cut
That tip with the note card was pure genius! Sometimes the best tricks are dead simple.
Thanks for the tip about cleaning the inside corner with a straw. Brilliant!
Here's a huge collection of 16,000 woodworking plans: www.WoodPlanner. xyz
. . . . . .
Love that tip for getting squeeze out from inside corners with a straw - will try that on my next box. Thanks!
Yeah, that one's mint. Also, works just as well if you use paper straws instead of plastic.
Beautiful
Love the contrast between the two selected materials
Suddenly have the urge to make all of the planter boxes and planters with all of my off cuts...
Do it!
Awesome stuff! Really enjoyed watching how you made these. Beginner woodworker here and will definitely be trying my hand at ideas like this. For now...I'll be watching the rest of your videos.
Good job, good explanation, makes me want to make something
Love the straw idea. Genius
😁
If nothing else, I learned a really cool clamping trick with blue tape!
It's amazing for small projects
Ty for the gift ideas, especially the succulent plant holder. A great way to use up the scraps like you said and I’m thinking one could batch a pile of these out in a weekend 👍
CZcams scrap wood = me , wow this I call perfect fine wood pieces I wish to have it .
That router table. 🔥🔥🔥
Great project! Thanks for taking the time to make and film it. Subscribed!
Great tip on the miter joint checking for light n between pieces. Plus the "L" board 2 put it up against while gluing.
S-W-E-E-T shop BTW. I'm envious.
Very nice projects. Love the FINISH!
What a great build! Love the results!! Keep going strong👍🏻 I subscribed definitely want to see more!!
This is the style of video I like - you show what you do but don’t linger on boring stuff, and narrate with details. Liked and subscribed!
brilliant gift projects
Awesome projects. Great gift ideas for kids teachers. And the kids can help make. Thanks.
Cool man, great job... keep it that way 👌🏻
I need to save up for a jointer and planer. Great gift ideas and great video!!
Great Job
If you ever get short of space I will gladly drop by and clear out all that scrap wood for you!!😁👌👍👍
Great work - with wood and camera. Greetings and best wishes from Scotland.
Great build. Thanks for sharing!
Great vidio, you have the knack of editing it just right to show your building technique while keeping a fast pace and so keeping the viewers interest. I've saving this vidio to a playlist of future projects - thanks for sharing 5⭐'s

Just found your channel. ... very therapeutic to watch. Loving your work. 😎😎
Nice, Matt! Love some scrap wood projects!
Thanks Jesse! Appreciate it 👍
Since I read *TopFineWoodworking. Com* , I think nothing will ever surpass it as an outstanding woodworking book. The book consists of attractive images as well as drawings and also reader-friendly text. I consider this book a "must have" since it supplies a broad range of information on just about everything working with woodworking and does it quite well.?
Garry not Linda. Hey as one guy said: "It's not scrap. It's precut inventory!"
Nice job . Loved the finished products

bro that is cool. I just started woodworking and i am really enjoying it.
Very nice job
Just power watched 4 of your videos. I am now a subscriber.
I have watched almost all of your videos and subscribed. Congratulations👏
I just ran into your Channel. Good job. You have a well equipped shop and you are very skilled. I wonder why you have relatively only a few subscribers.
Yos deserve at least ten times more. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words! I just started my channel a few months ago and am already astonished at how people like my videos! I'm so grateful 🙏
Very nice...
This is why we keep scraps. Great job. I love the contrast. What kind of oil-wax finish did you use?
I used Tried & True on these projects
Easy cheap woodworking ideas as long as u have a workshop and 10 grands worth of equipment... simple...
I`m retired and have a small shop where I perform woodturning, create musical instruments, and some cabinetry. I have a shelf full of woodworking textbooks - but I found this woodworking guide, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . The comprehensiveness of this book is surprising. It has decent coverage on every topic.?
Классная штучка👍
Amazing
Muita frescira para fazer uns cachepots
This is by far the best woodworking book I have ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . My woodworking teacher endorses it to all of his students. I am impressed how authors managed to write very detailed topics. I`m surprised by the material and didn`t have a tough time following the lessons..
What is the oil wax finish you use? Is it a purchasable product? I could only find info mentioning linseed oil and then paste wax. Great video!
Nice work mate, subbed :-)
May I ask where you got the resaw fence for the band saw?
Came with the bandsaw
👍👍
We don't need all the tools. We can do this with plywood. Stain them in different colors to achieve the same look.
Good for you!
Bomb
Love it brother 👍
Do you have a tutorial for your fancy push block?
MMA, where do you get your hardwood? I found one source I like on Ebay but he is limited in sizes. Thanks :)
Locally here in Nashville
@@MWAWoodworks Can I order from them online? Thanks.
Where do you youtube woodworkers get all the little gadgets you use? Like the wood scriber and router gauges? Other than Amazon? I have to drive quite a ways to find a woodshop to purchase things.
Several places on line. Rockler, Woodpecker, Highland Woodworking, Woodcraft to name a few
@@MWAWoodworks great, thank you
Clicked video excited, left video realizing I don’t have half the tools lol 😔
You can do all of these without crazy tools, just have to get a little creative or change some of the details!
@KB2236 I know that feel.
@@matterixon it would be nice to see more videos explaining *how* for those who are less advanced - and those who can’t afford all the fancy tools…
🤦♂️
Seems so simple but I can ne er seem to get nice precise 45º cuts on my Sawstop Jobsite saw. Probably user error.
After you suck the glue up with a straw, do you spit or swallow?
Great job always love your videos. I like the white paper trick :) #Wheelzwoodworking
Trying to purchase your beeswax and mineral oil mixture
supplies woodworking woodworking project furniture .
Fácil dice
Anyone else think he was just going to let it fall 5:55 lol
Long blank spot in the middle of the video.?? Might want to re-edit this. Great wood working loved the items made.
There must be a problem with your playback. There are no blank spots
@@MWAWoodworks 7:39 to 7:44 same here, black screen but still have audio.
This is super weird. I posted that video 6 months ago and I've never had a problem with the playback. There were no gaps in the video before 🤷♂️
Sorry for this experience. The video shouldn't be that way.
@@MWAWoodworks No worries. Like I said the project was great I like the item you produced real cool. Keep it up.
Wow! I can't wait to spend a quarter million dollars on tools like you have done to make a $10 pencil holder for my wife for Christmas. Seriously nice shop and high end tools. This is wood working pornography. Pure fantasy unless you have buckets of cash.
The awesome part is that I built my shop and all my tools off of cutting board sales! It's totally doable🙌👊
@@MWAWoodworks Where is that tutorial :P Also a side note to the Grumpy Greg. You dont NEED half that shit to make what he made or a cutting board. Just takes a bit more time. All you need is a table saw and the know how to make a few Jigs.
Waaah waaah I'm poor and it's everybody else's fault, anybody with something I don't have is being unreasonable
You heard the man, get of your arse and earn the money to build a shop like his.
@@Razor1rot My apologies! I think I have been misunderstood. After reading my own reply I DO sound grumpy! More a bit jealous I think. And I did mean what I said when I wrote beautiful shop and tools! I wish I had the same to make the projects easier and more precise. In the future I will refrain from negativity. (and jealousy)
If I had your tools.
*TopFineWoodworking. Com* is a fantastic website about wood working. I took various classes as well as finished a one year diploma in carpentry at a local tech college; this is much better than any book I worked out of during those lessons. It explains everything regarding woodworking as well as complements it with helpful photos.?
cute planter. unfortunately that's not a setup where a succulent would thrive
Interesting. How could it be improved?
@@MWAWoodworks Succulents are desert plants, generally. Their roots spread out a lot horizontally. So you end up with a large pot holding one tiny succulent.
@@MWAWoodworks And don't get me wrong, the woodworking is on point! :)
@@MWAWoodworks "Thrive?" Sure, maybe not. But I have succulents in small wooden containers like this that have been healthy for 3 years now. My main problem is my own fault. It is very easy to overwater in a wooden container (if you don't use plastic insets), the wood holds moisture and will either rot itself or rot the roots. I have found the most success with making multiple drainage holes and having the bottom be raised up slightly (1/2") to allow air flow. I use small offcuts to glue on as feet, and I also just water less.
The main issue I face, as a casual amateur with no big machines, is the making of boards. I have oak logs, fireplace size, but I am finding very quite hard to make simple planks/boards/lumber out of them. Frustrating...
Same here. I have had luck with just sawing the logs with a Western style panel saw,and then take
a #4 plane to get rid of saw marks, and square up my lumber. But it was very time consuming.
Although I was pleased with the results; I was too tired to make anything...lol
"Sick crotch"
Hey pal, my eyes are up here 😂😂😂
Woodprix comes with very useful plans with all the details you need.
I did the same with Woodglut :)
Woodglut is full of amazing tips. It helped me a lot.
The intro sound scared the crap out of me.
Make it wooden with the help of the Woodglut instructions.
I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.
Easy gift ideas to make, you need:
Digital miter gauge, industrial drum sander, planer, etc. To make a pencil box. ... ...
Yep, going to go out an spend thousands of dollars to make things out of scrap wood. 😂
Nobody would spend thousands on tools to make stuff from scrap wood. I think you are looking at it the wrong way 👌
@@MWAWoodworks that joke and sarcasm went right over your head. Merry Christmas.😂
Shoulda put what yer making in the title.
Why is that?
@@MWAWoodworks So I don't waste my time looking at something I have no interest in making.
What did you think i was making when you saw the thumbnail? Or when I mentioned in the first 25 seconds of the video what I was making?
@@MWAWoodworks After going through the commercials, I was thinking why don't you just put it the title! I saw 2 boxes in the thumbnail. Waste of time!!!
Thanks for watching 😃
easy.... if you have all this equipment. how about a video with hand tools only. you know for those who want to make something... but haven't laid out $$$$$ on professional gear.
You don't need professional gear to do any of this. All my gear is hobby level garage shop gear not production shop level. Also it's far easier to do this with this gear than with hand tools 🤷♂️
@@MWAWoodworks thanks for the prompt response. I will continue my quest to find a hand tool video.
Maybe go to a handtool channel like wood by wright.
This is not easy lol. This takes a lot of skill.
Now this is a project I could not find in Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible. Yet there's something very similar to it, Itry go’ogling his latest stuff, I think you can still get it at no cost.
Easy ???? He he he
Gifts Gifts, $20.00 ea for my sisters that picked on me when I was 7 yrs old till 11 yrs, after that is when I started getting muscles. (:-) (:-) (:-)......
Incorrect title of video. The title should say : “If you have a $10 grand Shop try making these tiny items”
hahaha😊
Just showing off his tools...
Step 1: obtain a$10,000+ workshop
Great vid tho
With all this machines l don't think that's DIY???????
DIY means do-it-yourself. I did it myself instead of buying them. Has nothing to do with what equipment you have.
Great video except for one key point if you’re making tutorials or step by step videos going forward. If someone has all these tools you show being used, they likely don’t need a tutorial for a fairly simple build because they’ve been able to invest the couple thousand dollars, at least, into buying those tools.
Dude your intro is way too loud. Chill out with it.
Beautiful
