Not ashamed to say I am addicted to your videos, how Sam is able to track your shots is amazing, half the time I'm not even able to see the fall of shot on the video ..
Awesome, Cheers Rob, thanks man
I've always been partial to the 7mm Rem Mag. The first hunting rifle I ever bought was a M700 BDL. I handloaded 162 gr SSTs and took a lot of game with it. My brother and I used to shoot tie plates we collected alongside railroad tracks and hung out on a powerline maintenance road. But I don't think we ever took them out further than 500 yards. I always wondered what the ol 7mm could do if I spritzed it up with a longer faster twist barrel and more appropriate optics. The heavy Bergers are solid in pretty much any caliber, and it is always a pleasure watching you two work together. If your communication is half as good when you're not behind a rifle, you have a great relationship. I wish I could get my wife at shooting with me, but she just isn't interested. Anyways, great shooting, guys!
Awesome, Cheers Man
I love when you put the scope view in the video!
Thanks Matt
I love that you have the sound on target to hear the difference between speed of sound and bullet and helps to know when to look for the splash
Yes when it all put together in the clip, glad you like, Cheers
Phenomenal work you two ..
And happy early Mothers Day for Sam .
You two never mentioned you have kids … but we both know she takes care of you Mark :)
Take care 😊
Lol, Cheers Taren, thanks man
Wow that setup really works well & the Mark and Sam team does too ! Your 1:9 twist has no problem stabilizing the 195gr Bergers & 2970fps is fast indeed! Cheers mate
Cheers Man, thanks

My 7RM shoots 195’s @ 2975 out of a 28” bartlien. It’s a tac driver. 7PRC never heard of her.
Awesome and lol, Cheers
You and Sam are an awesome team! Congrats on the Hit!
Thanks Jim, Cheers man
👍😊 the camera at the target sound is crazy.
Cheers Chris
Almost makes me want to borrow my buddy's Dad's 7-Remington Magnum, but unfortunately he built it back in the 80s with a custom Leupold with spider silk cross hairs and tiny mill dots. He died last year and we got into his rifles. All the spider silk cross hairs had disintegrated over the years. It's a shame. Leupold is just across the river from us though, so we could easily go get any factory reticle put back in it. I don't recall what the scope is, but I think it's a 7-30x50 or something like that. He had a target on his wall in the basement that was 3 shots in a 2 inch circle at 870 yards, if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately that room caught on fire and all the targets were lost, but almost all the rifles were saved. Mostly Remington 700s with Jewel triggers.
Thanks for the story Man, Cheers

Tranquille vous deux bravo
RESPECT 🙏🕊👋
Thanks Man
That barrel would be cooking hot..
Warm, yep, Cheers
With a 1:7.5 twist barrel you will be able to launch the 177gr Peregrine Glider bullet at +3100ft/sec. The G7 bc is north of .4
Significantly less dope and wind required.
Cheers
Great speed on that 195. Is that that stiller rifle that was in the manners stock?
Yes, thanks Tim, Cheers
That dirt wasn’t as “splashy” as your usual vids. Must’ve been pretty moist to have so little dust. Mirage didn’t help much, either. Nice shooting.
Yes, a little rain the week before, makes for difficult work, Cheers Man
7mm😀👍✌️‼️
Cheers
Love your videos mate, just wondering why you use steel mags over Pmags ? Cheers
The right steel mags accept longer rounds, but we rarely use the mag James... Cheers
Is me or for the editing, your pace of fire seemed comparatively hurried?
As always, thanks for sharing.
Cheers
When dealing with changing winds, you need pace to keep up, Cheers
Great shooting, looks about 6.399 seconds of travel. Do you ever get the chance to shoot in dead calm conditions?
Lol, Cheers Man, and yeh nah, always something wind to deal with, Cheers Man
🤠👍👍👍
Thanks Dave
Been a while since I've seen you shoot your TRG-42 in 338 Lapua. I know you modified it a lot since, but thats what originally brought me to your channel years ago. Still have it?
It has a 30-338lm barrel now, but yes, used at the begging of the season, Cheers
Were the conditions the same as when you tried with the 7mm-08? The 7mm Rem Mag seemed to do much better.
Very similar condition, 7RM has lots more speed, so deals with all better, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork Yes it did much better. That's why I asked about the conditions.
So just a mere 450 feet of drop… 🤦♂️
Edit: free fall for 6.4 seconds is about 650 feet. So it appears that the angle of the bullet when flying through the air with a nose up attitude creates about 200 feet of lift over the time of flight.
Maybe a little lift, but there are other factors like inertia etc, beyond simple free fall... Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork Thank you, cheers 🍻
Good stuff
Cheers
