      Pretty broad question, many surfaces many tires, many conditions, many preps. Lol. I do plan on doing something sometime discussing it though.

    I've been running predator for my first full season and I found out that a 4psi difference really helped me out. I run a 400lb class and im a rather heavy guy. I've had a lot of people raise an eyebrow or two but if it works it works.

    Trying to get my 8yr. old son started over the past few months. I have literally zero experience with anything like this. Let me just say, THANK YOU! We are running asphalt in Virginia, so not everything applies, but Wow! Its just so nice to find a person who just gives up the black magic! I watch all of your videos with a notebook and pen in hand to make sure I don't miss a thing.

    I’m just getting back into racing again I did a little 20 years ago I’m in NC so there’s right many tracks around. I don’t go to the big tracks and run in a certain class I go to a couple tracks that have a run what you bring the only rule they have is gotta wear a helmet and if you’re on the track with others have to have a body. It’s alot of fun and you don’t have to have a fat wallet to get into it. I build my own motors and a few other friends motors and I enjoy that just as much as racing. Videos like yours really helps alot thank you.

    What's a beginner class for dummies? Me being the dummy that has zero knowledge of the sport but I would like to start but everyone has different opinions but can't really tell me the safest/smartest place to start!

      Predator class seems to be the starter class now. It really comes down to what you wanna spend. The next class up would be clone. They are essentially the same setup with different engines packages.

    I’ve been finding out that if I run brand new tires that have never had prep on them seems to be working the best. No prep and resurface the shit out of them. That’s if you can find new tires

      Do what works. Sometimes just a clean set of rubbers hooks up just right.

    Great job, helpful, helped me understand better. When you did all 5 areas. It clicked in my head . Well you got me thinking. Grandson 8 years old. You have helped me get my grandson to second place in his class peewee red plate, predator.

    I’m so lost with my tire pressure/stager. My tire pressures are way off to get the stager I’m trying to achieve. My first race is this weekend and I guess I’m going to get a crash course in what to do lol. I Come from drag racing so this is a whole different animal. Love the videos keep them coming I need all the help I can get 🤝

      Where in the country? What tire? Track size? Here are some Pretty basic reference points 1 pound split between right and left side tires. Example: 5lbs Rights 4lbs lefts 1.5” front stagger 1” - 1 1/4” rear track dependent.

      @@kart6t3_ben Southern California 1/8 7 degree banked oval dirt clay mix. Tires are DURO RR 12x9.00-6 11x5.5-6 for the rest. I was told at 12psi the RR is is 38 1/2 put to get the stager on the left to 38 I have to put 30+ psi. Thank you for the reply 🙏

      @@srtdonmega wow. Most I’ve ever ran is 7/8 psi in my tires. RR 34” LR 32 3/4” RF 34” LF 32 1/2”

      @@kart6t3_ben yeah that’s why I’m lost lol everything I see is similar to the psi you’re running wondering if treaded tire’s are the differences I noticed you run slicks. Going to set them at 12 and 11 and shoot the moon what’s the worst that can happen lol. Thank you again for the advice most don’t even bother with us noobs lol.

      @@srtdonmega don't run tire psi to get the stagger you are wanting, of course it would make all your tires different air. that is the wrong way to do it. we down in Gettysburg PA run a 2 lbs split. say you're going to run the 11 and 12 psi. get the stagger set with them 2 psi, might have to stretch them or shrink them now with running 30 psi in them, more than likely have to shrink them to get it. then you would have to put the tires in the freezer with all the air out to get them to shrink down. me persanaly i have alway ran a 2 lbs split for 20 years, i have ran all the classes. yes even the opens and Yamaha classes

    Just got back into racing and learning things again. Love the videos. I am 59 and running 2 nd in points vat my track in clone heavy. Haven't been in a kart in 25 years. The newer carts are quite different. What is you best recommended internal prep. I have à hot box that came with the cart I bought but very little experience at prep.

      I really like GK1 Blue from Track Tac. It’s a pretty universal type prep for internal/external.

    Great video I've been watching now for a while first comment. That being said I'm new what one product you can wipe during the week say Saturday after the race. Do you wipe starting Monday and Tuesday how many coats and what a basic wipe during the week to keep the tires in a good place for next Saturday... 2nd part is talk about the triangle between engine rpm gearing and psi and what adjustments to make thanks

      The prep is really going to be determined by what type of surface your on. But yes basically you can wipe a couple 2/3 coats on during the week for that Saturday.
      The triangle is basically the best way to keep your engine at peak power. Gearing will get you up to speed and set rpm but if your tire pressure is too low it will reduce roll speed and not allow the engine to reach proper rpm.
