You should make your walls connect on both ends. This makes it so you can just walk around when the cat blocks you. Alternatively/additionally, you could just have a bunch of doors. That way you could have multiple guests over and throw your pizza party once and for all!

I feel like those changes are kinda cheating, isn't the cat blocking him just part of the challenge? I considered doors myself while watching, the connecting walls is an interesting idea too tho! I just feel like they ultimately would defeat the point of the challenge

I've got a video idea for you. The Modular house.
Each room is only 1 tile wide, and each room is disconnected from the others. So the kitchen is just a door and a stove, and then they have to leave to go walk to another room(building) to either eat or sleep or what have you. No rooms can touch or connect except at corners maybe.

If you have any exterior walls unpainted, your sim's environment need will plummet as they go to work :(
This made me think about all the times my cats have patiently waited for me to wake up, only to joyfully greet me every morning, all the times they have made attempts to play the things i am playing (with limited success) because they want to be involved and clearly its fun for me, and all of the times they have rubbed their little faces against me affectionately. Do they sometimes prevent me from doing things on time? yes. But they are forgiven, because as you said: They truly are beings of pure gaiety, merriment and love.
Yup, my little hellspawns are the most precious things❤️ definitely the cause of any happiness I feel. Buy myself stuff like $10 steam games? Nah, I’m too cheap for that. Spend hundreds of dollars on premium pet stuff? Absolutely. Fr chewy saving my ass with all of their sales lol

I love the way you take my nostalgia and push it even beyond my childhood imagination's limitations.
That ended better than I expected. When he invited the guests and then adopted a cat, I kept thinking he was going to get blocked in one of those corridors, prompting him to miss work, which would result in a performance decrease or worse... getting fired. IMO the smartest option would have been to rent that 1-tile house for 1000$ simoleons... just like in real life. :P
Can confirm cats and pizza have the ability to improve one's life substantially. Everything else is of minor importance.

You’re one of the best CZcamsrs bro. I’m a die hard original Sims fan: although I fully condone sucking out the social from people, rather like repeated binge-listening of a favourite tune to suck the dopamine out of it; I believe the NPC sims’ social will also go up as well as yours? So it’s more like farming social, as it regenerates.💗
The memories. I once had a sim who never slept and if i remember correctly all you have to do is drink two cups of coffee after every action. Annoying and not efficient but a fun challenge.
When you mentioned how cats are "beings of ....etc." I thought you said "beans" and all I could think of after was how cute little kitty toe beans are...🤪

Suggestion for a Sims video: 1. Invite people round for house parties, slaughtering them. 2. Create a graveyard with the tombstones. 3. Make a maze from the kitchen to a bin. 4. Enjoy as you watch their mental health deteriorate as they JUST try and stay clean while simultaneously being haunted by 2 dozen ghosts.
Damn you guys can't image how much I love these Sims 1 videos and streams. Ambiguous voice is so calming in combination with all these goofy Sims 1 sound effects, motivates me to live 😌

I think the most critical step to making this challenge not a complete PITA is to make your hallways into a connected circle; rather than a branching tree riddled with a big chokepoint at the front door like Ambiguous did.
