I am a Rodnover myself, and our community is growing. We're respectful and tolerant towards other religions, including Christianity. Reason why this mythology is so popular is the romantic era that was stronger there AND that the people of these countries dared to dig out their roots, not being satisfiedwith only the greco-roman legacy. There would be no Therion without Wagner. And there are new generations who continue to bring such themes up:)

One of the worst effects of Christianization was the demise of tribal democracy (in Nordic countries they had "thingi", in Slavic we had "wiec", both were a type of assembly of all free men, owners of households; women were also allowed to vote in the name of a household) and the onslaught of feudalism, which was a very unjust and wrong system, and one of the main reasons behind poverty of the late Medieval times.
