Attended this concert at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle. 🌟
Damien’s the bomb. I’ve seen him three times, and each time was a very different show. The first time was in 2002, when he was touring for his hardest rocking album, I Break Chairs. That show also included Pedro the Lion (the band of Damien’s former Coolidge/The Guilty bandmate, David Bazan), Unwed Sailor, and T.W. Walsh. Every band had all the same members (except for Damien, who only performed during his own set).
The second time was ten years later at Chicago’s Reckless Records. For that show, he simply stood in an aisle and accompanied himself with an acoustic guitar- no amplifier and no microphone. It was beautiful. The third time was another full band show in 2016, but this one was a lot more psychedelic, with lots of mellotron.
This song is currently helping me A LOT to write my novel, I can't stop playing it in my headphones. Thanks to the movie An Autumn with Berlin for bringing me here.

This pissed me off so much because the character transition in that scene was so pure, and then just for Robin and Barney to end it one episode after the wedding. Fucking hell.
Absolutely! Just because they shot these scenes with the kids long back they had to break Barney and Robin up. C'mon! Barney's character arc is the best in this show and they had to crap all over it and make something senseless.

@@xsoham exactly. Between Nora, Quinn, and Robin his arc was constantly great and just waiting for him to end up with one of them in the end and then they just basically scrap him right back to how he was without any sort of improvement to his character. Failed writing in their end.
There used to be a fan made video of this song with an incredibly moving scene from A Swedish Love Story. Disappointed it was taken down, but this song is amazing regardless.

I just enjoyed watching a recommended film, "The Lesser Blessed". Damien Jurado's "Museum of Flight" is perfect Outro to a fantastic film, by Anita Doron, from the book by the same title, and screen play by Richard Van Camp. Appreciated Damien's solo performance at the Alix Goolden Hall, way back now, maybe 2010 or so?
