Thanks! We are wanting to put our old oval glass insert (we purchased a new front door) into an interior foam core door to a master bathroom - this kinda shows what kind of door to look for and how it would be done. Any videos on that sort of project?

    • @funbro1

You would just need to cut the hole in the new door the correct size. Maybe use the door that you took it out of as a pattern. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

I have the exact door you use in this video. I had the bad idea to take the oval glass to paint the door gray. When I unscrewed all the screws, both panels detached from the glass and the glass fell on my leg and foot (big bruise but I'm ok). When trying to put them back, four screws keep spinning, keeping a space between the panels and the door. The neighbor thinks the it's stripped. Unfortunately, my experience was not as smooth as yours. ;(

For a direct replacement you need the same size from the door manufacturer. That is not to say that if you were creative enough that a different manufacturers window or a different size wouldn't fit in. @@funbro1 this isn't the first one of your videos I have watched. I spent a couple years getting a degree in Industrial Technology, and that gave me some of the knowledge I needed to handle certain electrical and plumbing problems, but CZcams videos like yours are my real teacher these days.

How about finding a way to clean and reuse the old one without having to buy new.

    • @funbro1

Seal was broken so it would not be cost effective to even try to reuse the old one. Thanks for watching.
